As the core area of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Mount Qingcheng–Dujiangyan," Mount Qingcheng is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, a National Key Scenic Area, a National AAAAA Tourist Attraction, and a sacred site of the Quanzhen Longmen Sect. It is also one of the Ten Great Grotto Heavens, one of China's Four Famous Taoist Mountains, one of the Five Great Immortal Mountains, and one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Chengdu."
