I recommend staying her for location convenience, right in the heart of Times Square. It was me and 2 friends who stayed in 1 room. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and had amenities (hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner), and complimentary water and popcorn in the lobby. We dined in for breakfast one morning, and the quality of the food was great. The wait staff went above and beyond, as they gave a complimentary birthday cake for my friend, celebrating her 40th birthday. All the staff were polite, helpful and respectful. I would return to this place in the future if I stayed in the area again.
Good Value & Central Location – Ideal for Families

We stayed at Voco Times Square South for four nights with our family and friends visiting from the Maldives, and overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel is conveniently located—just a 10–15 minute walk from Penn Station, Times Square, Hudson Yards, the Vessel, and the High Line.
One of the highlights was the small but cozy outdoor patio at the back of the hotel—a great spot for the kids to unwind after a busy day. Adding a few more family-friendly touches, like small toys or treats, could make the space even more welcoming and help justify the amenities fee, especially for families with younger children who may not use amenities like the gym.
The rooms were compact but comfortable—expected for NYC—and the bathroom was impressively spacious. Breakfast was tasty, though a bit crowded in the mornings. Having an extra staff member during breakfast hours would definitely help reduce the wait time. The drinks menu was thoughtfully curated and reasonably priced for the area.
We were a little disappointed that breakfast wasn’t complimentary for kids, as we had expected, which made accommodating their varied appetites more difficult.
What truly stood out was the service. Meagan was incredibly helpful while I resolved some IHG booking issues, and Prajna, along with the rest of the front desk and dining staff, was warm, attentive, and professional. Elevator traffic was a little slow during peak breakfast times, but otherwise smooth.
Overall, we had a great stay and would gladly recommend Voco Times Square South to friends and family visiting NYC.

We stayed as a family of 4. Rooms very clean and modern . Free toiletries , free tea /coffee water is a lovely touch . Welcome drink is a very professional touch . Everyone loved the popcorn snacks in the lobby . Breakfast times can be extremely busy as can the lifts . Allow yourself plenty of time . Excellent location for all your NYC tourist spots . Would recommend

The best thing about this hotel was the welcome by the reception staff. Some improvements can be made to hotel operations and processes but a functional place to stay.
Hotel can’t accommodate guests unless they are willing to use the stairs no matter what floor they are on

Hotel can’t accommodate guests unless they are willing to use the stairs no matter what floor they are on. There is no fridge and no service lift so guests can’t get in to the elevator when trying to access the room

Modern and clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff.
I have stayed in Voco with my family during our holiday in NYC.
Before i made decission where we gonna stay i have gone through hundreds of hotels reviews. Apparently its a common thing in NYC when you arriving at the hotel and it looks much worse then you expected.
Well, not in VOCO!
Hotel was clean and modern.
Room wasn’t big but definetely good enough for us.
There was coffee machine, and coffe capsules and water supplied daily.
Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner in bathroom.
We were located at 7th floor. There are 2 lifts operating. From our floor we didn’t have any issues or delay to get to the lobby. We have na view from our room, but it wasn’t something that we wanted anyway. However other guests that we meet in the hotel had a rooms with some nice views on higher floors. And that’s with no extra costs.
We had a great stay and if we will come back to NYC, i won’t be looking for another hotel, as the VOCO offers everything we need. This place is quality.

The hotel is near Times Square and fifth avenue.rooms are smaller but convenient.staff are nice and breakfast is good.I would recommend this hotel for new York trip

Pathetic I will never ever come to This hotel again. You people literally tortured me on the security deposit I have an overseas debit card which was not working in your hotel I literally had to beg people to arrange me a credit card to arrange security deposit for your hotel.

I flew in on a red eye, and had a very early morning flight out the next day. I was only there to attend a Broadway premiere that meant a lot to me and I had to fly right back home to get back to work the next day. I was originally staying with a friend but at the last minute I was unable to, so I had to scramble to find somewhere to go. I desperately needed a shower and some sleep as soon as possible, so I called an endless list of hotels trying to see if any of them would let me check in early. When I called this hotel, an IHG rep answered the call (so not anyone physically at the hotel) and I explained everything to her. She told me they had availability to check in at 11, which was amazing news so I booked it specifically because of that. When I arrived, however, I was told that 11 was impossible and I had to sit and wait for a room to become available. This of course is not the hotel staff’s fault, but the IHG rep on the phone should not have told me that it was possible when it wasn’t. Again that was the entire reason for the booking. However, the staff did get me into a room as soon as they could (I had to wait almost 2 hours but it was still a few hours before regular check in so I’m grateful for that at least). The rooms don’t have mini fridges which I didn’t realize, and I have a medication that has to be kept cool so they sent a fridge up to my room which was amazing. The room was small but still very nice, and the shower was great. They also gave one free cocktail with the resort fee as well as $10 off meals, so I was able to enjoy that after I showered and rested. Jesse at the bar provided fantastic service and despite the rough start I really enjoyed the hotel overall. The location is great; very central and within walking distance to several touristy destinations. All things considered, I absolutely recommend staying here!
