Named by Wine Enthusiast among America's most iconic cheese shops, it is a worthy stop for anyone who loves good food.

Just north of downtown, the Sarasota Children's Garden is a hand-built, non-profit playground where imagination runs the show. Every Saturday from 7:00AM to 1:00PM, the Sarasota Farmers Market fills the streets around Main Street and Lemon Avenue, stretching from First Street to Pineapple Avenue with vendors along State Street too. Local farmers and artisans bring produce, fresh bread, plants, flowers, and handmade goods, while live music sets the pace and community groups set up alongside. It runs year- round, rain or shine, and is just a short walk from voco Sarasota.

A Rosemary District mainstay for over a decade, Shack Yoga + Fitness has grown from a literal backyard shack into one of Sarasota's favorite studios. A downtown fixture since 1926, Art Center Sarasota began as the city's first arts organization and remains one of its most active.
