New hotel, very good staff but rooms are not up-to the standard.

I stayed at this hotel 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the first room I was given lacked the standard we always see at IHG hotels. There was no luggage rack to unpack and put my suitcase and I had to open the suitcase on the floor. There was no clothes hangers or dedicated place to hang clothes. I was told I could hang the suit and shirts on the bathroom curtain line. It was odd because all would get wet when you have a shower. The room looked like it was still under refitting or remodeling.
Anyway, I insisted changing the room as the room photo at the IHG app was not like the room I was given. The reception changed the room the next day, for which I thank them cordially. The new room was only a standard room where you can see at any Holiday Inn Express or Holiday Inn hotels. If I knew this I could definitely select another H.Inn Express nearby or prefer the EVEN hotel just across the VOCO. I learned later that the prices at EVEN Hotel was better.
Breakfast was served at EVEN Hotel and it was good.
The rooms had a small kitchen but there was no fork, spoon or dishes or other tools to prepare food in case you prefer to consume your own food in the room..
Overall, I assumed VOCO Hotel would be a good one after a long trip but I was wrong. Better to stay at a Crowne Plaza or H. INN. I am not sure if I will select this hotel again.
I thank the guys at reception as they really helped as much as they could. I believe the hotel management should visit the rooms and increase the standards.

Charlie at the reception was extremely helpful. The taxi driver overcharged me from the airport to the hotel, and Charlie helped me to report the taxi driver. Charlie showed great understanding and compassion for a non-local in times of trouble. He even allowed me to use his mobile! I already came back to HK but want to thank Charlie very much for his assistance. Will always choose VOCO in biz trip to Shanghai ~
New hotel, nice rooms, good breakfast, but some issues

New hotel, nice rooms, good breakfast with Chinese and European dishes.
However, the reception desk looks like one at a motel, with bunch of papers all over, including floor and lots of paper bags with food deliveries for hotel guests. Clearly, not how the reception desk should look like at IHG hotel.
Also, at check-out the hotel tried to charge me extra by adding "upsell" line for each night. At check-in I signed paper saying that total charge for the stay will be RMB 6,333. At check-out they gave me bill for RNB 8,500 due to "upsell". Took 10 minutes of arguing to remove the charge. Unpleasant experience.

Great for Exhibition stays

First time stay at ths property which looks very new. I picked this hotel for its proximity to exhibition halls located in the Hongquia part of Shanghai.
First of wall, walking to the exhibition is super simple and fast. Do not trust google map on this. Literally it takes maybe 10 or 12 mins walk max. So I highly recommend this property if you have plan to visit a show over there.
Hotel room was spotless and as iHG member I was upgraded to a massive suite with great views. Modern rooms, Large TV screens, int's TV channels.....
Breakfast was served at sister hotel opposite ( EVEN ) and I must say that it had a massive choice of foods, both for chinese tatse but also for visitors outside of China.
It takes roughly 10 or 15 mins tor reach the massive Shanghai HongQuia train station from the hotel, and around 20 Mins max from the airport, if you reach domestic. If you arrive International, I beleive it is a bit faster ride.
There are 1 mini supermarket nearby the hotel, a Lawson convinient store also, and a coffee shop, all of them 10 meters away from hotel lobby.
Seems that a KFC will open its doors soon also.
If there was 1 minor point to mention : there are not any restaurant nearby the hotel, and you need to take a ride .
I highly recommend this property.

Amo este hotel. À primeira vista, a localização desta propriedade é um pouco interessante, localizada em uma área tranquila do Hongqiao CBD. No entanto, após uma exploração mais adicional, alguém perceberia que ela está perfeitamente localizada em uma área intocada próxima a um belo rio, enquanto está a ao mesmo tempo, em uma caminhada tranquila até o NECC. Ao mesmo tempo, é uma confortável viagem de 10 minutos até o coração do Hongqiao Transporte Hub, com ótimas lojas e comidas fantásticas. Um novo hotel- suíte que acabou de ser inaugurado e, portanto, eu não poderia elogiar mais o seu hardware. Os funcionários são bem treinados e são simpáticos e prestativos. Ansioso para minha próxima estadia aqui. Bravo para a equipe e as pessoas que trabalharam arduamente em segundo plano para tornar tudo isso uma realidade.

因为是刚开业不到一个月的新酒店，所以设施非常新，装修风格也不错，房间和走廊里有装修的味道这些都有预期，也都可以接受。酒店位置也很方便，离虹桥机场10-15分钟车程，可以节省很多时间。
但也由于是新酒店，在餐饮服务上出现了比较严重的疏漏，目前Voco的客人是需要去对面的逸衡一层吃早餐的，餐品种类在这个价位的酒店来说足够丰富了，但在吃自选的沙拉的时候，吃到嘴里发现有玻璃碎渣，还好没有咽下去/划伤口腔，因为担心可能会伤害到后面的其他住客，所以反映给了服务人员，服务人员反馈给了经理，查实后发现应该是有其他人夹菜的时候，夹子把装菜的玻璃容器磕碎，导致碎渣掉到了菜里。问题明确后，经理、主厨轮番道歉，提出送咖啡等作为补偿，由于赶时间且不想为难工作人员，就没有要，希望后续可以提高服务的精细度，让住客们放心。

É difícil entrar e sair de onde ele está localizado, pois ainda é muito novo. Seria ideal estadia assim que o hotel tivesse mais opções de compras e restaurantes
