Little Acts to make customers special

I have checked in early and there is no available room. So I left my luggage at the Concierge. The hotel staff is kind enough to bring my luggage to my room when it became available. This act has made me feel special.

I love the gift of making great sleep, including eye mask, tea bag for morning and night.

Staff with good English providing great services.

Good transportation connected, just 30 seconds walk from JR station.

Comfortable stay

Poor front Desk, did not give early check in, even when emailed a few days prior, and advised of Priority Club Membership.
No upgrade given.
My wife called and left a message, but front Desk advised that I had not checked in, although I had, but message arrived about 3 hours after the call from her.
Poor Room service menu, even with 4 restaurants in Hotel.
1 English tv Channel - CNN
Poor Lighting in Bathroom
Furniture chipped and damaged, Wood veneer falling off of long mirror - very tired room.
Friendly staff, but no ambience.
