If you're in Monterrey for business this place is great. Very close to the airport, you could easily arrange for a hotel shuttle to pick you up, or cab it (Roughly 150 peso). The restaurant at the hotel has amazing food and great service. The only downside to the hotel was the lack of English comprehension at any position other than reception...considering 90% of the customers are American/Canadian. Also ask for two room keys if you want to keep your room air conditioned while you are out for the day. There are card holders in each room that turn the power on only when the card is present. So if you only have one, your room will be without power while you are out...no A/C. no camera, cell phone charging.... nothing. And don't plan on swimming much, they serve dinner next to the pool for anyone that wants to eat outside, and the pool is located right next to the bar and smoking area.

Not the best Hotel I have stayed at.
Room was nice, but shower was not always hot. I would expect a Crowne Plaza to have a better water heater. Food was good, but expensive in restaurant. We had 1 free beer voucher for bar. Which was nice, because the second beer was expensive.
It's nice if you can get upgraded to 8th floor. They serve free beer and hors d'oeuvres. However not everyone in our group got up there, so we had to sneek people in.

Since my arrival Shuttle Service was not at the airport, had to call three times to the hotel to request and ask for the shuttle van!!..Waited from 11:45pm to 12:30am...Driver never said "excuse me" nor even good evening...Staff at front desk, ignorant and lack of professionalism, not courteous...waited 30 min for an extra bed ordered in my reservation....Night manager, gave a 1-800 number for better making future reservations by phone instead by on-line to personally explain operator about extra beds!!...instead of offering an apologize and a free night as any other top hotel would offer for such bad experience and bad treat...or a cup of coffee at least...HIs cultural and educational level would never suggest himself to fix such situation in any other way..
The lowest and poorest personnel Staff I had ever found in any hotel around the world!!..

My second stay at locations. Nice rooms, close to airport, good Italian Restaurant nearby. Rooms are clean and well kept, security seems good. Breakfast as always is pricey but you gotta eat.

Staffs are really friendly and on the "A" game for customer services. I set up a wake up call for 1 morning and was in a shower and can not answer the phone. The hotel manager, Francisco, went to the room, knocked on my door to make sure that I am awaked for my appointment. The little thing does make a different in cust. services.

As a business professional and global road warrior, the Crowne continues to be my Hotel of Choice when I travel to Monterrey, MX. Francisco and his staff are professional, courteous and customer focus. The Crowne Plaza Aeropuerto imbues the personal touches along with guest comfort. I highly recommend the Crowne to business travelers and just those passing through.

This is the only hotel I stay when I visit Monterrey. I fly almost every week to Monterrey and the service staff and accomodations are alwys outstanding. The staff takes care of you like family!

The staff was great. My room was very comfortable and clean. The bar and restuarant had good service, food and drinks. I am coming back to the hotel on 3/11/13 thru 3/15/13 and look forward to my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Monterrey area.

I have found this to be the best place to stay in Apodaca, Mexico when traveling on business. The entire staff is very helpful for all your needs. The Priority Club floor lounge is excellent and, again, the staff is there for you every need. I highly recommend and the work area in the room are very good, along with the wi-fi in each room and common areas.

The low occupancy should never be an excuse for a poor limited service. A breakfast buffet should always be a buffet, an upgrade should always be available, and AC always running.
I didn't see a discount on my bill due to the limited services.

I visit Monterrey once a month for one to two weeks at a time. The property staff and shuttle operators are the primary reason I continue to return to this Crowne Plaza property. I don't want to down play other aspects of the property, the value and rooms are accomodating. Some issues with internet bandwidth and the occassional comode issue...which have been promptly addressed when I have requested assistance.
The lobby staff, shuttle drivers, front desk clerks, and the hostesses in the restaurant, as well as Jose on the 8th floor...when I was allowed to stay on the 8th floor, always make me feel at home. They tryically address me by name, remember some of the things I prefer, and go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable.
The change in Priority access floors was not well communicated and left a bad taste for a while. As a property managemnt group there should be more allowances to upgrade priority members to prremium rooms/floors.

During my 2nd stay there was three "private parties" so the pool area was closed. So there was little to do but sit in a room... no thanks! My company and I will look else where for lodging. Can get cheaper rates next door and the same level of service.

I have been staying since you opened, however, the rooms are starting to show their age and need work. The staff is outstanding and you need to run two shuttles on Friday morning as I had to wait and almost missed my flight.

although i have had previous good experiences with this hotel, my last stay was not good.
I think perhaps the hotel laundry was not working well, and I came home with a significant rash after sleeping in the bed (I doubt the sheets were rinsed adequately)
Doubt I'll be back

A great hotel to make as my base while in Monterey.
Very close to the airport, excellent service, clean rooms, everything as it should be in a business hotel.
There restaurant is very good and again, great service.
When I am back in Monterey, this is where I will stay.

The staff declined to honor platinum status. No upgrades even when rooms were open. Priorty lounge had terrible service. Bathrooms are poorly constructed. Water pressure had huge swings. Shower door allows water to flow out on the floor. Toilet continues to run after every flush requiring the guest to fix it.
