great room, excellent value

The hotel is well situated near Umeda station. The staff are very helpful and the room was much bigger than other hotels I have stayed at in Japan.

有接駁車不錯

飯店人員有禮貌,但是英文沒有很好,
本來想問寄包裹相關事宜,
後來有一位會說中文的來幫忙
冰箱不冰導致從京都帶回來的抹茶退冰,
冰箱都是水,
包裝變的爛爛的,
還花了時間去清理
退房前清理冰箱的感覺不是很開心
而且是要買回去給朋友的禮物

Terrible Stay Experience

Hotel staff were unfriendly, hotel is also dated. There were mites in the Suite Room's sofa and armchairs. Carpets were dirty and stained. After informing the GM in the morning, nothing was done as there was still sand on the carpet that evening and mites still present on the sofa. Only good thing was the Crowne Plaza lounge and the staff who were helpful and very service oriented. Also, no recognition as a Platinum member of the IHG programme.

Insult to Platinum members

First time stay at this property and it will be the last.
Don't expect any recognition or enhanced service even with a platinum status at this property, although that seems to be the general attitude in Japan in many hotels.
Language may be an issue but staff could be better trained and more courteous, especially the front desk and the guy at the bar... They even charged me for the complimentary drinks. Didn't argue as it was more waste of time.
Room is very much average, sheets were clean, but bathroom is tiny and could be much cleaner and need some work.
