Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very pleasant experience The overall experience was enjoyed by myself and wife, our son and daughter in law and our Nephew and his partner. All expressed their happiness with the hotel in general, the helpful staff , the ambience and the food. The outside of the hotel is perhaps a little dated and tired but welcoming all the same. As a family we all would be happy to visit the hotel again in the future some time. This was our second stay here which says we were happy to return. 13 November 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Really not up to par Don't get me wrong, this is not an awful hotel but it's very dated and the rooms are very ordinary, which just doesn't cut it these days. We had two rooms booked, one ordinary and one 'executive' - apart from the (hugely expensive) mini-bar in the latter, you really wouldn't have noticed much difference between them. Both looked very 'tired' and well used. As everything is low-rise, any noise outside late at night is intrusive. We used Priority Club points to pay for the stay, so it was effectively free. I would have been much more unhappy if we'd paid money for the rooms. That said, we didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was plenty of (free) parking. There's nothing nearby in the way of restaurants, etc. 30 October 2014
