After a good nights' sleep in a comfortable bed we enjoyed an excellent cooked breakfast at a reasonable cost. Excellent shuttle service too. Pays to be an IHG rewards member. January 28, 2016

I had had a "live chat" on your website to ascertain where I should find the complimentary bus from Birmingham International station. The information given was wrong. Other conference delegates experienced the same problem. I caught the bus because I saw it come in on the opposite side of the car/taxi park. My room was standard for Holiday Inn but the water in the wash basin took 6 minutes to run hot. I accept light bulbs fail but having given a bulb with broken filament into the hands of a manager in the morning I was surprised to find an empty lamp holder on my return to the room in the evening. It was replaced immediately on calling Reception. On arrival in the conference suite there was no one in the Reception for several minutes so I found my meeting room by wandering round. A simple noticeboard would have eased the job of the poor young man who was overloaded looking after meeting organisers. The equipment in the room failed repeatedly. In the restaurant in the evening our party of four people was kept waiting an hour between ordering and the food being delivered. January 27, 2016
