Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not happy this time i always like to stay in hoilday inns i think they are great. this time we went we took our 2 granddaughters with age 3 +8 we went for a meal at 7 45 it took half a hour to get our order taken we then got our meal at 20 to 9 we had our meal and ordered puds which was ice cream for girls we waited so long we asked how long they wud be they came out and said there was none wud we like to order some thing else i said i dont think so girls were tied it was 10 by then we had been there 2 hours i was not happy also we were not happy it was a long way to our room and we were given the wrong key 3 times we had to go past rooms that were being done up. i was not very happy overall. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Original room not Clean After arriving at this Holiday Inn which I have stayed at before, a few weeks ago. On checking in with a long queue I eventually got to my room which on arrival I realised straight away that it had not been cleaned die to coffee, milk sachets, dirty cups and rubbish in the bathroom plus the bed was not made (no tags on pillows) I went back to reception with my luggage and laptop only to have to queue again, I eventually was given a clean room. I have decided to point this out as I will be staying in Hotels in Staffordshire/Stoke until November 2015 (between 1 to 4 nights a week) and up until now have never had a bad experience with Holiday Inn. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Front Desk Service We booked two rooms at this hotel for our daughter's graduation. One double, which was newly decorated with a walk in shower, one twin, which caused the hotel some administrative problems but eventually they provided a room with 2 double beds which was ideal for my grown up sons. Aaron on the Front Desk sorted out the confusion with the booking and couldn't have been more helpful. David organised for both of my sons to have a packed breakfast to take with them because they had to leave before breakfast was open. You can't ask for better service than that. Overall the hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Ideal for an overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent and good value. July 17, 2015
