Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Proximity to Shopping Malls Excellent overall. Friendly staff. Holiday Inn proximity to major shopping malls, restaurants and various event centers is a plus. What impressed me more was the attention to detail by the staff at the FAB restaurant where I enjoyed my complimentary breakfast. Special mention is Ms Bernardo's professionalism and charm to make every guests feel at home and enjoy a sumptuous buffet breakfast. Observing her go from one table to the other making sure guests get what they needed prompted me to ask who she asset to the management...and definitely a leader by example. 17 May 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lift/ elevator is slow need to be fixed and bad second hand smoke from other floors goes into the lift There are three lifts all too slow. We have to wait for a long time. The lift conditions is too old. Buttons are spoiled need to be fixed. The hotel should use air cleaner/ ionizer to clean the smoking floors so it won't pollute the air in the lift/elevator when it stops on the smoking floor. 17 May 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay-but rooms need to be up dated Rooms need to be up dated! Furniture in hotel is really old. Buffet was worth the 6 bucks and has a lot of food. Omelets made to order too. Wait staff was really good the first breakfast but the staff the next day was not good. Elevators take a very long time to respond. Expect 5 minutes or more for elevators to respond. Take the stairs if you have the energy because taking the stairs is faster than waiting for the elevator. Good staff-Johnny is very help at the front desk and can get you anything you need in a moments notice. Great location in a safe area. Overall good experience. 14 May 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by great hotel disappointed guest I've stayed here before and I always want to stay everytime I visit Manila either crowne plaza or holiday inn galleria because of accessibly to shopping mall and nearby government agency. The reason why I got disappointed was I have to wait for almost an hour for check out because of food & beverage posting of bill I paid our breakfast in the outlet by cash and then upon check out it was on my surprise that I have still need to pay in the reception. And then the male receptionist mentioned to me that I have to pay the bill and the outlet will bring the cash that I have paid, why can he just asked me to pay the difference instead of asking to pay the whole amount and wait for the reimbursement so that I dont need to wait for almost an hour. And also I noticed that some of the staff in the outlet the ladies are wearing dangling bracelet not only one but the are 2 or 3 bracelet and mobile phone is visible. As a hotelier we have to follow some policy and procedures as part of the grooming standard. IHG always want to be number one and be a preferred hotel thats why you always say Great Hotels Guests Love... 14 May 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beware the front desk We tried to extend our stay for one day. We booked online and I confirmed it the next morning with the front desk. But during the day, they decided that we had not extended. My partner was in the room, and they called repeatedly and told her to leave and that they would move our things out (I was away at a meeting - this was a business trip). After numerous calls to the hotel (this took 7 hours to resolve) where I was supposedly being transferred to the manager (never spoke to him/her), I finally had to leave my meeting and go to the hotel to resolve this. By the time I got there, they were ready to admit that the room had been extended. 7 hours later. I never did hear from the manager, and I will never stay there again. Two other guests also had problems with the front desk, and both of them changed hotels. 12 May 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VALUE FOR MONEY Being a priority club member we have always stayed at Holiday Inns Hotels or IHG hotels around the world and on our first trip to the Philippines we stayed at the Holiday Inn Galleria Ortigas Manilla . We found the location excellent for our business needs and having access to the Robinson Mall an added bonus. We found the hotel to be of a very high standard in all areas even though it was one of their busiest seasons 1 May Labour Day. I would differently recommend this hotel if you intend to go Manilla and like being close to all amenities for business or pleasure. Regards Sue Solomon 09 May 2014

If you haven't joined the IHG rewards club, I highly recommend you do so as soon as possible. Finally a rewards club that treats you like you are special.... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great 2 nights spent over the weekend My family has always enjoyed the services of this hotel. It's nice to know that they value the quality of service they provide to their guests for each and every stay. Breakfast at Fab was good but it gets easily crowded due to a lot of other guests staying in the hotel. The room rates were good seeing that we availed of the privilege membership for IHG. My only problem was that the elevators were limited to 3 and were quite slow. This becomes a problem when occupancy is high since guests from lower floors are no longer able to take the elevator due to full capacity by the time the elevators reach the floor. I don't see this improving anytime soon since this is already in place and modifications would be too costly at this point. Anyway, it had been fun and I wish we had more days to spend relaxing at this hotel. 29 April 2014

I was told that the internet costs 600 pesos then I told her that it should be free since I'm an IHG Rewards club member. She then asked me for my number but the number was already attached to the reservation. Shouldn't the front desk agent check the reservation before asking for information from the guest? I had a bad experience with the check in process because of this. I also noticed that there was no priority check in lane for elite members. I also did not like the way the front desk agents were not able to give out straight forward information when i called to ask about the possibility of checking in early. They couldn't just flat out say YES or NO. 25 April 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Yuck. -Filthy windows in lounge; beer not cold. -Shower temperature too hot and not working properly - so wife and son had no shower. -Staff indifferent -Musty odor throughout halls (poor carpet maintenance?) Never again. We are in HI Taipei and it is a world of difference. Staff are sincere here. Shameful in HI Ortigas. I can see how if one did not use the lounge, ignored obvious odors and had no dealing with front staff and had a room with good plumbing, then it would be fine. We would be fools to return. Never again. We would like our money back. Apologies are hollow and have no meaning in the service industry if the hotel is not pro-actively maintained. Yuck. 24 April 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service From check in to check out was hassle - free. All the staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful. I was granted a request of a partcular type of room, much to my satisfaction! There were always hotel staff around who were willing to help or answer any querries. The hotel room I was in was so spacious, clean and tidy. It was cleaned and made up regularly. I stayed there for almost a month, in Marchl 2014, so I know how good they were! The management made me really special. Out of the blue, I was sent a complimentary dish of special chocolates! Thank you! I got to know a lot of staff who were kind to me, (Kat from reception, Edmond from housekeeping department, Sherrie fom Avis) to name a few. Thanks to the management and staff. 14 April 2014

Having stayed in many Holiday Inn Hotels executive room means lounge access and other benefits. Response to the complaint was slow. This overshadowed all other aspects of the visit. Similarly 4 coffees during a meeting at coffee shop charged as breakfast at 700 peso plus also unreasonable.very slow lifts for upper floors. 13 April 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Average Average service. It was my birthday why I checked in here so I asked for an extra hour check out as complimentary as I'm flying overseas thay. My flight is in the evening so I asked for an extra time before my check out. Unfortunately they are NOT willing for it and insisted that there is a charge. I remember they also mentioned that they just give complimentary cakes for birthday celebrants (which they actaully didnt bother giving at all). Noticed also that the couch in the receiving area is very dusty and I kept on sneezing. Observed too that front desk receptionists are not so friendly. It's my first time in Holiday Inn so I can try the service but it seems it kinda failed my expectations in IHG in general. Also, the free wifi they claim is like a joke. I never detected any signal. This was disclosed before my booking so I thought I can work there,but in fact, not at all. Very frustratinfg. But kudos to phone operators. They are very nice. 11 April 2014

Very useful but wish the time it closes matches the last full show hassle to go out and find way back to hotel. Wireless internet working Bottled water complimentary everyday What is not working---- There are 3 elevators in this property and when they work they do get you quickly to where you want to be. However, on a number of occasions, the wait is just too long to be acceptable. The fitness center is operated by gold gym but there is very limited flexibility wen it comes to opening ( too late) or closing ( too early). In the few times I was able to use the facility, the staff seemed to be indifferent to guests Breakfast is predictable and unexciting. This is compounded by spotty service. Eg. Coffee refills . the Philippines as a tropical paradise is not recognized as such when the hotel is serving canned peaches ! Despite these deficiencies, one can count their blessings in having an affordable accommodation. 09 April 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by breakfast the breakfast items were so great. You got a lot of foods to choose from. All of these foods seem so palatable, good-tasting- and healthy. Even the beverages were so varied that you hardly can choose which one to take in as all of them seem to be good-tasting. There a lot of desserts like fruits. On top of all these great qualities of the breakfast is the freshness of all the items served for guests' consumption. It was just an unsightly thing to see some guests bringing out food, taking out large quantities concealed in paper bags. Anyway, i did not see any instructions which prohibit bringing out foods. 05 April 2014
