Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2 NIGHT STAY CLB 10-8-14 Once again we were treated with a Platinum Upgrade to a 2 room suite with 2 balconies. Ocean view was not available but we hit the beach hard anyway. Pool and all amenities were good as usual. Great location. 18 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Trees Why the ridiculous pruning of your once beautiful oak trees? You are paying unnecessary money to the landscapers and shortening the life of the trees. Without all the limbs to buffet each other in a windstorm, each branch becomes more susceptible to breakage and/or damage. This also makes the trees more susceptible to disease. Your "landscapers" were just finishing when we were checking in and they had taken off some very large limbs that were totally unnecessary. Now the trees look terrible! If you don't like the natural beauty of the oak then plant something else. Otherwise hotel is very nice. 16 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing room and very good breakfast For a newly acquired Holiday Inn, every one was doing their best to make our stay a good one. However, there was only 2 elevators working on Friday and Saturday and only 1 on Sunday when everyone was checking out. Also, a bellman was hard to find, but when we did finally get one he was very helpful and gave us his full attention. Thank you to him...keep him.......Also, thank you to the young man at the registration desk, when I checked in, who helped me with my luggage from my car to my room(no bellman were to be found). I am sure that as the staffing gets to be where it should be, it will be a great hotel. 16 October 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by family weekend in Tampa Arrived for family weekend at University of Tampa and selected this hotel when my regular location was sold out because of the Bucs being home. first night started being given a room with a broken toliet. We were moved to another room that had a bad mildew smell. Finally we were moved to the executive floor. The hotel made amends by giving a small perk. We were surprised that tarps were left out by the elevator by the painters. On the last day I had to go to three different pc's to print my boarding pass. The staff allowed me to go behind the desk to print my pass. The staff was pleasant and address every issue but there seem to be a lack of upkeep for the hotel it may be because of incompletecwork being done in the hotel. May consider returning once the work is done. 15 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved the Service The hotel was awesome. I enjoyed my stay. Everything was as expected. The only thing would be the cost of food. Paid $12 for a Cuban Sandwich, it way to salty and full of pork fat. Other than that, everything was great. I would recommend it. 15 October 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by great room room was extremely quiet, minor problem with toilet fixed within minutes of reporting. Air conditioning was cool not only in room but in hallways. Excellent food and service at hotel catered dinner. 14 October 2014
