A little bit expensive, but if you don't stay more than 2 days is good option.

Close to downtown. Coca Cola Museum, Olympic Park, Aquarium, CNN are nearby. Sweet Auburn area is just a short drive away.

Hotel staff were helpful and very accomodating. It is an older hotel, so you can see some of that in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was neat and clean. The suite had a nice view of the downtown area. Breakfast was adequate and convenient.

This location was excellent. The street was quiet, neighborhood was safe for walking, and was centrally located to various sites and restaurants -- all within a easy walk. Staff was excellent and helpful.

We came to Atlanta to do some College Touring with my grandchildren. The hotel is centrally located. We were comfortable during our stay although we did not spend much time in the room. We had the breakfast one morning and it was quite good actually. I commend the young lady, Shaunda, on the front desk who helped us get a room with a convertible couch. The front desk staff were quite pleasant and called for taxis when we needed one. The cost was reasonable. Centrally located right near the Street Car, Centennial Olympic Park, Ferris Wheel, and great restaurants in the area. We came to Atlanta for a specific reason and this hotel fit the bill. We were not looking for a luxury resort.

The room was small the TV's did not work correctly and the bed was a double bed.
I knew how to fix the TV in the main room and it took me some time to get the small TV in the bedroom to work. The fridge did not keep food cold and that was a problem.
The room backs up to the small elevators and every time the elevator doors open and people got out they were noisy and it disturbed my sleep.
Besides the room being to small the hallways and elevator were small as well. The elevator only allows 5 people on at one time. One family with kids and luggage had to take 3 trips on the elevator.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by pagescreek1 Great remodel but overpriced
This is an older downtown hotel that has been converted to a Holiday Inn Express. Very nice remodel.
The cost of accommodations at this hotel is out of line with other Holiday Inn Express hotels. There is no self parking and no Holiday Inn Express should charge for parking.
If you are attending a function at the Georgia World Congress Center, this is a great hotel to use. It is very convenient to the GWCC, Georgia Dome, and other downtown attractions near the Olympic park.
Typical HIX breakfast, but they hostess did not keep the food available and diners had to wait for items to be heated and brought out to the buffet. Cinnamon buns, when on the buffet, were cold and did not seem to have been heated at all. We stayed four nights and the pancake machine was never turned on. A sign said it was out of order, but it did not appear to have ever been used as there was not enough room around it to even place a plate under the output end.
