Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very accommodating Arrived late for an early Tunnel crossing, tired and hungry on a very wet night, to be told food had just finished.. But... The very bubbly and helpful young lady said, " but no worries we have details of local restaurants who can deliver. We can provide plates etc, would you like a drink whilst you choose?" Or I can give directions of you would like to eat out? I chose a curry and took a quick shower, came down for a beer and the curry arrived, took to the room with another beer, really good food and the hotel provided all cutlery, plates and a tray. I could have eaten in the bar also but preferred to watch TV in private. I have stayed in some hotels where crisps are the only option when food is finished. These people went out of their way to be helpful for no gain or benefit for themselves or the hotel. Highly recommended! 23 January 2015

As I had to leave early I missed breakfast and the packed breakfast provided was disappointing. Very helpful and friendly staff. 17 January 2015

No frills or fuss but very functional and I truly couldn't fault the staff in any way - extremely friendly and helpful. In fact, I'd say this is the selling point of this hotel.
