The room was quite and well appointed, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Hotel staff was very professional, friendly and helpful, gave good suggestions for places of interest in the local area. 10. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Mini vacation delivered!!!! purchased a "Living Social" deal for this hotel to be used in July but a death of a friend meant rescheduling. The staff at the hotel were most gracious and accommodating with the switch. Got there and was able to check right in - being platinum certainly helped I am sure but perhaps not since this was just the beginning of excellent customer service throughout our stay. Beautiful grounds, great heated pool, nice fireplace on the patio area. Michael, Ashley 7. September 2014

However the bathrooms are way too small to accommodate more than 1 person and even that is a tight squeeze. The shower is "European" design as having only 1/2 glass enclosure which we did not care for. There are no King size beds available also. 5. September 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Resort Feel Contemporary Design Nice Hotel with a real vacation feel to it. The staff was helpful and fun to talk to. Overall value was very good. Outdoor area was a nice place to hang out with a drink. Amazing how many hours the staff puts in and still keeps a smile on their faces. Clean and comfortable room, but would be nicer fi it was a little bigger. Innovative style should get LEED recognition for water and power management. I would return and consider other Indigo Properties. 2. September 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Great place, Staff needs more training The place is clean and well kept. I would not hesitate to stay again if I find myself in the area. In contrast to the upkeep and condition of the grounds was the attentiveness of the staff. I find it disappointing that on a Tuesday morning with sew people in the restaurant it seemed understaffed. Its the little things that differentiate a good hotel from a superior one. The hostess was not at her station, which is forgivable, but none of the staff had the courtesy to look up and say "She'll be with you in a moment". the food quality, breakfast, was good but the check arrived before an offer to refill my coffee cup or a "can I get you anything else". These are all small problems that would cost nothing to correct with a little training, and for this reason I find them troubling. 28. August 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by 2nd Visit to the Hotel I am writing this review based on our last trip to Hotel Indigo. We rented two rooms for a "ladies getaway" this was my 2nd time to the hotel, the other guests first. EVERYONE was so pleased and could not get over how beautiful the hotel was. It was a perfect visit! The weather held off for us( it was the week Islip got 13 inches of rain!!) I had stayed with my husband in July and we had had a couple of snags but this time it was a delight!!! The food in the restaurant and around the pool is delicious! The front desk service was beyond helpful in finding things to do and places to go with a map print out as well! The hotel provides a local shuttle and the driver was a doll! It saved us from our group splitting and having to take two cars (not to mention being able to have a wine or two!) Our waitress was also helpful with the area happenings and even circled place of interests for us in the local guides (in case we had gotten rained out) Kevin the manager was very accommodating as well, after all the cushions had been put away do to rain, he insisted on getting them out for us and started a beautiful fire! We traveled into the Hamptons for the afternoon, but it was truly unnecessary! Staying at the hotel was all we really needed! The concierge's suggestion of Jerry and the Mermaid for dinner was also a very good one! We cannot wait to return!!! Thank you everyone at the hotel for making our stay a memorable one! **The only suggestions we had was better lighting in the room ( the only well lit mirror was in the bathroom, it makes it hard for more than one female getting ready!!) And possibly an in room fridge? 28. August 2014
