Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Customer Service Hotel was clean, rooms were at standards for Candlewood Suites, but customer service was awful. My family, along with another family at the pool, were asked to leave the pool area at 3:30pm on a very warm Friday afternoon. We were asked to leave so they could power wash the pool deck to prepare for the upcoming holiday weekend, which the day we were there happened to be the Friday of that holiday weekend. Not sure why it couldn't have waited until 8pm when the pool closed or early in the morning when people were checking out, as opposed to checking in as it was at 3:30pm. In addition, I requested a later than 11am checkout and was told without any question as to what time I would like, NO late checkouts. We are short staffed and have to get all rooms ready at 11am. Again, if they are short staffed, the cleanings would have to be staggered so not sure why some effort couldn't have been made to provide some level of customer service. In both cases, the staff and manager for the pool issue were unwillingly to work with customers and provide a satisfactory level of customer service. 2. September 2014

We required accommodation for the night, but although only for a short period wanted to ensure it was comfortably and clean. The Candlewood Suites provided excellent value. The room was clean and comfortable although some of the furniture was a little tired. I would recommend. 28. August 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Satisfied in Fort Myers We were not disappointed with Candlewood Suites during our recent stay in Fort Myers, FL. As in our previous visit to KY, this hotel was very clean, the hotel personnel were friendly, and the room was very clean with everything we needed. The only issue concerning the hotel room was the water in the bathroom sink would not get hot. However, the shower hot water was fine. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our experience at this hotel. 23. August 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Carry A Written Confirmation I made two bookings with the 800 reservation service. Upon arrival, I was told there was only one booking. Fortunately, I had printed out the emailed confirmation to prove I had a booking. Had I not had this, I do not believe I would have gotten the same rate as booked. The desk agent was insistent that I had made a mistake. Customer service confirmed that both of my bookings were in their system and valid. Just not a good way to start a trip. 5. August 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Frequent IHG Member - Very Very Poor Front Desk Staff As an extensive traveler and significant user of IHG properties, this is the very first time I'm leaving a BAD review. I've stayed all over the U.S. at IHG properties, and have never had such POOR service and treatment from the front desk staff, mainly an employee by the name of Carlos. I was at this location for 5 nights, and it wasn't just one bad day or night, he was miserable and rude every single day of our stay. Unwilling to provide the most basic services or behave in a manner suitable for someone in his customer service position, I was taken back by his actions and words. Enough said on that. I would only recommend this property due to its location to the wonderful beaches only a short drive away. I also want to share that there were 2 gals who worked the front desk most mornings, who were very pleasant and made the mornings enjoyable. Thank you to them! I however, will not stay at this property again, as there are other IHG choices who would be more than happy to have my business. 3. August 2014
