Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by First time was great. Second time not so much I stayed at this location once before and I liked it so much that I came back with my fiancé. The first time checking in was very welcoming, but this time was rushed. I said that I self parked and the conceirge immediately said that she would add the parking cost to my card without asking. I was fine with it because I was going to have to pay for it either way, but when I went to leave the parking garage I had to pay again. I thought maybe she just didn't charge me at first, but I checked my bill and I had been charged $24 twice to park one night. I tried using the card she gave me but it did not work. Overall, I enjoy the hotel but the parking was expensive to begin with and got more expensive because the concierge rushed through the process and didn't load the card. August 18, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by abysmal serice nobody answers the phones!! I tried "instant service" and 0 to no avail! I needed info on parking for a friend and lounge hours and I had to go to the front desk to get info! And was told that the operators were busy! Hours later, I needed ice in my room, and the machine on my floor was broken. I called again, and again NO ANSWER! I let it rings for several minutes!!! I will not be back!! August 18, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Stay Recently, my daughter, sister and I stayed at InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, GA.. We actually came to town for a wedding and unfortunately, I received a call informing me that my father had passed away in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania shortly after we checked in. The staff there was spectacular in helping us make arrangements and making sure that we were taken care of. Vira and Roosevelt were outstanding and deserve kudos for all of their assistance. They helped us through a very dark period and we are grateful. The hotel was lovely and the food was wonderful. What could have been disastrous stay for us was enhanced by your lovely staff. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Interesting Time I was booked into this hotel by my company for our Recognition Event. We had issues with the airlines and arrived at 6:30 our event beginning at 7:00. While checking in we were asked for a credit card and then asked to sign in. It was not explained that my card would have a hold placed on it in case I decided to charge something. I assumed that if I did charge something, they would put it on my card. I did not read what I signed thoroughly as I was in a rush to get to my event on time. The hotel on the whole looked very nice. My initial room on the 3rd floor was nice as well. After our festivities, I returned to my room, showered and soaked the stress of the day away in the tub. I was relaxing watching tv, when I heard a "bloop bloop" "glug glug" noise coming from the bathroom. Upon investigation, I saw the water in my toilet appeared to be boiling. Then soap suds began to appear. I immediately call the front desk. They said they would be sending engineering up to take care of this. My traveling companions began to text me about similar issues in their rooms, and I invited them to come and look at mine. By now, the whole bathroom floor was covered in soap suds that was coming out of the toilet. Junior, from engineering arrived after I dressed, and immediately arranged for a different room as the clean up would run into the wee hours. I moved to the 17th floor. The room was similar, but the duvet cover was torn, and the bathroom scaled was an ancient plastic model with the lens so scratched, you could not read it. I was slightly unnerved as I was now away from my co-workers and traveling companions but locked everything up tight and tried to sleep. In the morning I went down to print my boarding passes and the concierge assisted in printing it as the printer was out of toner. He asked about my stay and I filled him in. He asked if the manager had spoken to me, I said he had not. He seemed surprised but said he would have him call me. He assured me the manager would take care of things and that I should let him know all that had happened. I went to breakfast which was divine, and he called. He said he knew all about my troubles but didn't seem interested in hearing what I had to say, he offered to put 2000 IHG points on my account and as I was getting ready to check out, I said that would be fine. My co-worker received the same, but she didn't have to get dressed and move in the middle of the night away from the people she was traveling with. I just expected better I suppose from this hotel given it's location and prices. August 18, 2015
