Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Slow Internet, Poor Bathroom, Good Room Service The internet was extremely slow even though I used the high speed version. Some pages did not even load. Its free though however I would pay just to get it to work! My iphone worked just fine in the same room for web browsing. The stand up showers get clogged with water and take several minutes to drain. So you're basically showering in a pool of dirty water. Room service was excellent. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good choice but not without its flaws My check-in process was not easy. Lines were long and had to wait about 10 minutes to speak to an employee. Once I did get to speak with an employee she was very courteous but gave me a room key that didn't work. I went up to the 10th floor only to find that my key was not working for the room I was assigned. Had to go back downstairs and wait in line again for another 10 min. I also parked myself in the underground deck. I should have been issued a parking key to get me in and out of the garage. When I left to go to dinner, I found that my parking key did not work. Had to go back to the front desk to get one issued. After all that was out of the way, I really enjoyed my room. Nice view of the city. Bed was very comfortable, too. Overall good, but not great experience. 26 April 2013

My boyfriend decided to surprise me with this little getaway but got some facts confused(commonly done with men) and the young male staff memeber at the front desk fixed it without any hassles. The food at the restaurant inside was great! I wanted to taste southern cooking and i was very impressed with my red snapper I decided t have late night. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate my boyfriend and I. Keep up the impressive work! 26 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Housekeeping Needs work Beautiful hotel and room but housekeeping needs improvement. Small issues that bugged me were: -The light in the vanity mirror was out, -Empty tissue box not replaced,which was a big deal since pollen count was very high, -Bathtub plug did not work, -Room barely cleaned on one occasion (iron/ironing board left out), -Old soap left in watery soap holder, -Turn down service provided one out of three nights For a high-end hotel like this I expected more attention to detail. 22 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel with friendly staff Excellent staff from valet parking to front desk, and the bar staff . Well trained in the hospitality business . The food was excellent from breakfast to dinner. I usually write lot of negative things about places ,I have stayed at, but this hotel exceeded my expectations . Try it for yourself. Like to see free wifi for all guests in the future. 20 April 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Hotel This is a beautiful property with an excellent location. It is close to shopping, dining, and a Marta Station. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the service is good. We live in north Georgia and do frequent "in-town" staycations here. Check out the spa, pool, and hot tub. 18 April 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Class All the Way Have had numerous business trips to Buckhead over the years and have stayed in several of the other hotels in the immediate area. The Inter Continental was by far the best. In fact, it's so far ahead of the others in the quality of the room, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the comfort of the meeting rooms that it stands alone in a class by itself. Will highly recommend to my company and to others that I know that if they have either business or personal reasons for visiting Atlanta that they consider the Inter Continental as their first choice for a hotel. 10 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just Needed to Get Away! Once upon a time I was a frequent traveler for my line of work. Now I'm a stay-at-home mom with 3 teenagers and a wonderful husband. I used to live in Atlanta, so I know the city well. On this particular trip I was in town for a family wedding. I was alone, but most of the time I was surrounded by family. My last night there I just needed to get away and have some time to myself. Your lovely hotel was exactly what I needed! I had a wonderful bourbon cocktail in the Bourbon Bar, watched NCAA basketball (I'm a huge fan), and relaxed afterward in my soaking tub! I had the best night's sleep of my Atlanta trip that night in my big, comfy bed. It almost made me wish I was a frequent traveler once again. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when the opportunity arises! 07 April 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A 4 Star Hotel The Inter-Contentintal Buckhead Atlanta was nice but not 5 star nice. It was very busy during our stay and there was not a dedicated concierge. We were left fending for ourselves on dinner reservations and directions. The bellman delivered our bags but did not get ice or explain any of the room amenities however the beds were very comfortable. 06 April 2013

We are always treated with excellent service. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. The club lounge staff always remember us and go out of their way to take care of us. You can't go wrong staying at this top notch hotel. We are looking forward to our next stay later this month. The new restaurant in the lobby is also worth a visit. 04 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Business Conference My wife and I stayed at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta for a business conference and we truly enjoyed our 5 day stay. The customer service was excellent. We wanted to shop at a local mall on one evening and the hotel's towncar took us there at no charge. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel is beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling through Atlanta. 31 March 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Is a reservation really a reservation?? On arrival at almost midnight, with a 8:00 AM meeting the next day, I was told that I had to move to another hotel. This was despite having had a reservation for over 8 weeks. I was told this was due to "scheduling issues". When I questioned the situation, and reminded the woman at the reception desk that I had a long standing reservation, I was asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I definitely was interested in voicing my displeasure to the manager. She left to get the manager and then returned with a room for me that suddenly became available. Had I not been given a room, despite having stayed in your chain of hotels many times, it would have been my last stay. Is a reservation a reservation or not? 31 March 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice location, but questionable cleaning. I am glad that you asked. The maid washed the coffee cups in the room and did not send them to the dishwasher. I do not think that is hygienic. I am surprised that you still use powered cream. Most hotels have gone to a better option of liquid 1/2 and 1/2 that does not have to be refrigerated. How often are the spreads cleaned? I noticed spots. YOu are in a wonderful location and a beautiful building. I had to ask for newspaper and otherwise do not interact with any staff. 29 March 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gave away confirmed room. Would not make it right. Had a confirmed reservation for over 2 months, reserved in block of rooms for a conference. Called day of check in and confirmed once more. Arrived and room had been given away. People registering in front of us had same experience. Person behind us had a confirmed reservation yet they sent him to another hotel. Staff were infuriating. They acted like we should all be glad they gave us any room, even while acknowledging the 2 month old reservation. Said they would move our things the next day while we were in the conference! We refused, and they said we'd have to move as the room for that night was promised to someone else the next day. Gave us a "2 queen bed deluxe room", which turned out to be 2 full size beds, not queens, in tiny room that looked like someone else had been in it. Slippers & some toiletries missing, pillows off bed stacked in floor, etc. Next day when we Front desk staff acted like they were doing some wondrous thing by offering to continue us in the small room at the conference price we had paid for a King Deluxe! They finally agreed to give us $30 off. when I checked out early and commented about the issues, they asked what else they could do to make it right. I asked for them to pay 4 days parking and they refused. I asked for a dinner voucher for us (party of 2) and they refused. They gave us a card for the executive lounge drinks and hors d'ouvres when they knew we were leaving & driving home an hour later and could not drink. Numerous run in's with front desk staff to no resolution. We checked out early, after 3 nights, skipping the last day of the conference. Beds were comfortable but too small for 2 people so we slept separately. Room temp could not be adequately controlled and it was too hot the entire stay. I had a sprained ankle and we asked concierge for very close restaurant recommendation and use of hotel car. Car was ending for day so she gave us restaurant that was "very close, less than 5 minutes walk away". It ended up being about 6 blocks away, and took 20 minutes. Lots of issues on hotel side. Too many to list here. On the opposite end was the convention and food services staff, and the executive level lounge staff, who were the best I have seen anywhere in 25 years of going to professional conventions. What a contrast with the hotel staff. Get them to teach the hotel staff about service quality. 28 March 2013

I mentioned that to the agent checking us in and she upgraded us to an executive level room with a great view of downtown. The restaurant sin that part of Buckhead are great and we could walk to and from. Typically high grade bedding and bath. We loved it. Obviously, staff service was superior. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location Great location close to MARTA and lot of restaurants.Restaurant in the hotel is average .No decent vegetarian item in the menu.The salad was horrible and they served me that with bacon when I had specifically asked for a meal without meat.Everything else is good except you will have to go elsewhere to find food if you are a vegetarian. 22 March 2013

Best sleep night out of town that I have had in a very long time. Restaurant is very crowded and you must make a reservation in the evening. In the morning, the staff is not extremely efficient if you are in a hurry. But the food is excellent! 20 March 2013

I enjoyed the comfort of the room and will definitely stay again. I would have liked to see more late night menu options from room service, but the overall experience was excellent and very relaxing. However the best thing about the experience is the great staff, from the door men to the front desk and the wait staff, they treat Me like family! I wouldn't go anywhere else in Atlanta! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WE WILL BE BACK! Rooms were great, very comfortable and relaxing. Overall service was awesome! From the time we arrived the valet, concierge as well as the desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Bourbon Bar staff were just as friendly and knowledgeable about their products and area. We are planning another trip in August and the Intercontinental Buckhead will be our destination! 09 March 2013
