    Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 A/C poor We choose this hotel as part of American Express fine hotels and resorts. Bellman was wonderful! Check in was interesting, we asked for the club and was given 3 different prices by 2 different front desk employees, from $100.00 to $30.00, I think we paid $35.00. They give you a letter about the club which states you should refrain from bringing anything back to your room. WHAT??? We felt like criminals bringing beverages back to our room. They did have a nice selection throughout the day in the club. The only club problem we had was there was no one there to show you how to use there coffee machine in the morning. Our room was clean and quiet, the main problem was if you left the room the A/C turned off. After spending the day outside in the blazing heat you want to come back to a cold room, When I called about the problem I was told that this is a green hotel and was assured while we were in the room a motion sensor would keep the A/C on even while we were in bed. Not true, the room was hot! Getting ready in the bathroom was tough too as there was no A/C vent in the bath. We order 4 items off the room service menu 3 items were great, the turkey club was on wet/soggy bread and the fries were cold. I called about this too and was asked what would I like them to do??? Then I was told it was a special order...LOL, I asked for it on wheat toast that was the special order. It was late so I declined there offer for something else as it took 45 minutes to get the order (2 apps, and a salad). Then I was told it could be taken off my bill, not it will be, but could be, really! Morning breakfast buffet was nice and had a good selection. Checking out I asked to see the bill and yes, the turkey club was removed from the bill, but not the tax or the tip. This is a lovely hotel and great location for the price compared to the other fine hotel and resorts that American express offers. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. August 2, 2015

But the icing on the cake was Elena, the lady from the members front desk! She was extremely friendly, always approachable and helpful and supported us in many ways - for us the employee of the year!
