Very handy to have Starbucks practically inside the lobby. Extremely friendly and helpful staff made the stay very enjoyable!! 21 December 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ambassador Membership Desk Needs Friendlier Staffing! The person manning the Ambassador member check-in desk did not respond to our greeting and acted as if he was doing us a favor. He mechanically recited some sentence acknowledging our Ambassador status and then informed us that our room would not be ready for 1 to 1.5 hour. No apology whatsoever for the delay. He took our cell phone number and said that a text message would be sent once the room was ready. No text was received and when we came back more than 1.5 hour later another staff member checked us in. This reception was not what we would expect from any hotel, let alone the Intercontinental Ambassador program. 18 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel in super Lage, sauber und kompetent Das Hotel befindet sich direkt auf der MIchigan Avenue (MagMile) und somit in ausgezeichneter Lage. Speziell an WE´s sit im Hotel durch etliche Zimmerparties recht laut, was sich nicht sehr gut auf die Schlafqualität auswirkt. Des Weiteren hört man selbst im 25. Stock noch sehr gut Verkehrslärm. Das Gesamtpaket des Hotels ist gut, das Personal sehr fachkundig und zuvorkommend. 17 December 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could have been awesome After making reservations for a single king bed room I was given a queen size. It was ok so I didn't complain. The front desk gave me a nice welcome card referencing a gift but there was none. I asked the desk about it and a bottle of water and fresh fruit was brought to the room. The sink didn't drain very well so I had to ask for service. It was completed in a timely manor but its hard to believe house keeping didn't notice and report it for repair. The batteries in the TV remote had to be replaced. Since the bill was not delivered to the room by checkout I had to wait in a lengthy line just to be told it was taken care of with no additional charges. The door man needs to pay attention to who is waiting for cabs instead of hailing them and giving to whoever is closest to him. overall not one of the best stays I have had 17 December 2014

Guests with pets must reserve the Historic Tower. There is a 100USD fee, 50USD which is refundable. Dogs and cats without size restriction. Pets must be kenneled when guests are out of the room. Please contact hotel in advance to rent a kennel, if needed.
