Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great stay every time The best part of the hotel, of course, is location. Rooms have been renovated and are very comfortable. Beds/mattresses are exceptional. The rooms, however, are on the small side. We had a room with 2 queen beds (and just 2 people), and candidly, it did file crowded. I can't imagine the same room for a family of 4, so if you have opportunity to upgrade to larger room, I would suggest that. 22 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by American Girl Package What a great package! I have two girls - 4 and 5 years old. We had a wonderful time! The package gives a take home travel American doll bed, mini cupcakes and chocolate milk at bedtime, popcorn and free breakfast to kids. Everything was wonderful. The hotel is in the middle of the magnificent mile - close to all! The only things I would warn are: the pool is magnificent- a junior Olympic pool. But it was too deep even in the shallow for my kids without vests or inner tubes. Also - breakfast is EXPENSIVE. Even though kids eat free the adults are going to pay pay pay. Coffee alone was $5.50!!!!!! just normal breakfast coffee. But those are very minor things and did not effect how much we enjoyed our stay there. We are planning to come to Chicago next year and we will definitely book our room here. 16 January 2015

The room was VERY small, however, we did come on a wedding rate and it was very reasonable so we feel we got what we paid for on that account. The staff was fabulous, especially the concierge!!!!! The man who checked us in was really great too but Kathy (concierge??) was so great, she recommended restaurants and stuff to do, gave us her card and just did a great job. The guy outside who got us our cabs was also terrific. Overall, a great experience and we can't wait to return one day! 15 January 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by awful Our experience at the Mag Mile location was awful. Hoards of travelers crowded the lobby when we arrived (lined up to the front door, waiting to register). with thoses numbers, it was obvious the hotel was overbooked and under staffed. When we finally got tothe desk, we were told that we could only get a room with one bed and that our 2 children would be provided with rollaways. When we left the next day, we were told it would be quicker if we just walked to the garage and picked up the car ourselves rather than wait for a bellhop. We will never go back. 12 January 2015
