Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor checkin and room ac not working My issues started at check-in - had to wait in line 4 people deep late at night whith only 1 staff member behind the counter while others milled about in and out of the back office but did nothing to help speed up check in. Then i was told my rate didnt include breakfast (my confirmation said it did but the person refused to acknoweldge or honor it). Was told that even though i had free wi-fi, it would be charged to my room and then credited back on the final bill. of course, that didnt happen - i had to go back and stand in line to checkout and have them reverse the wi-fi charges. Both nights i had to call engineering to fix my room ac. it just didnt work. when i asked the second time they said its some water line that is stuck and that I would have to call every night to have them come and fix it! Overall, a really lousy experience. Definitely not staying at this hotel in Chicago any more. 18 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable and great service We were unable to experience any of the dining or lounge experiences, but everything else was great, right down to concierge having bandaids. I am a swimmer and that pool was a life saver--best indoor city pool I have seen in years! 17 April 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just Average I have no specific problems with the hotel, but given the high prices, the hotel was just average. The room was fine, but didn't offer anything more than your standard value hotel. The lobby was nice and the staff were very friendly, but other than that, I couldn't justify spending the amount of money it takes to stay here again. 16 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Walking Distance We stay in Chicago a lot both for work and for fun. This was our first time at IC on the Mile. We walked almost 8.5 miles on Sunday and never really crossed the same path. the location is very central to everywhere around the Mile. 16 April 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by okay, but not the best I stay at many hotels in the Chicago area for work and this one was okay, but certainly not the best. The rooms were smaller than most in the Chicago area in this category (4 star). It was certainly clean, but there are many other hotels that have larger rooms. If you are in town for vacation, it is located in a great location (Michican Ave) and the service was great. I love the instant service button on the phone! Anything I requested on this line was taken care of quickly and to my satisfaction. 15 April 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by nice room The room was nice, that was the nicest part of our experience. I booked the hotel online which was supposed to include a valet package which as soon as I booked I called and the lady on the phone stated that valet was for sure included. Then of course I get to the hotel and they know of such a deal where valet is included so then I called the number that I called to begin with and this time there was no record of that package. Finally after the 3rd time of the front desk attendant going back and talking to the manager, he finally comes out. After 45 minutes we finally got checked in get up to the room and they put us in a 2 double room not the king room that I paid for. So I get to go back down to the front desk and request another room. But the room was nice and clean. 14 April 2015
