Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing We have stayed at this hotel before and have good memories of our experience, but not this time. The common areas such as the lobby, restaurant, pool, etc. were wonderful but our room was seriously lacking. I honestly have never seen a smaller hotel room. We were a party of 3, 2 adults and one child. I would have been unhappy with this room if it was only me. There was barely room to negotiate around the beds and no place to sit other than a desk chair. We also had a vent issue. The air vent was extremely noisy and made for a difficult night. It also blew directly on one of the beds. If we had turned it off, the room would have been stifling. Going forward, this room should only be booked for a party of 1. It can not reasonably accommodate any more. This was an extremely poor value, I expected more. At least not less. 16 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I don't want the hotel to do too well!!! My favorite hotel In Chicago, but I am worried it will become too popular. I stay there a couple times a year. Great location, great staff, beautiful rooms (in the old part). And the pool! Typical big-city noise interrupts the night. Parking, like others in the area, adds $65 a night, but overall, you get what you pay for Internet is usually good, but was spotty on our last visit. Good lobby bar. (Jordan's) 16 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location on Magnifcant Mile Great location to shop. Also the Navy Pier is in walking distance, straight down Illinois street to the Pier. I would not order room service again, the food was very rare and the french fries were cold. The bar only has sweet wines no great brand wines. Very disappointing. The Concierge desk does not communicate with the front desk so the lack of communication is frustrating. I would not bring a child to this hotel again, but my husband and I will stay here. Only because the pool is not child friendly. 14 November 2014
