A very pleasant hotel with fantastic views, nice rooms and generally reliable service. The resort is a bit isolated from the main attractions of Koh Samui - which can be a plus or a minus. We had a rental car which I would recommend if staying at the resort. The quality of the food at the restaurants was very high, however, we preferred many of the Thai meals we had off site. The price of the food at the hotel would be similar to the price at a North American hotel so if you are eating on site, the price does add up quickly.
The junior suite we had was very roomy with comfortable bedding and excellent views off the patio.
There is a fair bit of walking or waiting for carts that is required, so people who have mobility issues should contact the resort.
My family and I enjoyed our 5 night stay at this resort. i would recommend if you want a quiet resort.

Excellent accommodation, food, staff, swimming pools, gym, spa,.... 40 minutes from Chaweng but worth the extra distance for the views to Five Islands. The facilities are all 5 star and the atmosphere in this hotel is very good. Value for money. We also stayed 5 nights in a villa only with private pool hotel 10 minutes further south and paid more than double for a much poorer hotel experience. We will return to this hotel in the future.

IMPROVE STAFF TRAINING. This is my 2nd time there. All the concierge services were slow like my previous stay. The front reception was still too tough to deal with - they didn't have service mind, insincere and always lied to guests. This time I came with a group of company on a meeting. Some people stayed for 2 nights but some people stayed for only 1 night. Most of my colleagues who stayed for 1 night already checked out early in the morning for city tour. There was only me who stayed at the hotel for the evening flight, so there were plenty of rooms available for new guests. I asked for late check-out but, again, the lady at the front reception lied to me they really needed my (this) room. So I informed her I was a Priority Club member, then she immediately agreed for a 2pm late check-out. This was very stupid.
The worst experience was at 2pm sharp, there was a bell ring in front of my room while I was getting dressed. Then a man used his key card to break into my room immediately after the ring, while I was undressed and also didn't close the bathroom as I thought I was alone with the door locked. He apologized and when I checked out and waited at the library, a lady came to say she was so sorry. THIS REALLY INTRUDED MY PRIVACY. And this was also like my previous stay that anyone could break into my room.
