The hotel location is very good but the service was very bad i never see room service like this they are very careless , no respect to any demend for room service .i have ambassadore card but i found that it dose have any previlige with it .realy it is waste of time and spent of money for nothing .i do not recommend this hotel to any one unless it is location but you can find the same location with better services realy i was shocked by the way they answered the clients .i hope any of the responsable of the hotel contact me to explaine to him my very bad stay . 28 May 2013

The principal attractions are both its location and its access to the West End and to the Royal Parks. However its staff, particularly at reception and in the Club Lounge, deserve a full mention. What could be a standard, although attractive, five star hotel is made much more attractive and comfortable. For us it has be come a "Home From Home" David 27 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The london Intercon experience Once again staying at the london intercontinental has surpassed itself , ranging from the reception staff to the club room Lounge including a bed that everytime you dive into its all embracing warmth, softness and comfort reminds you that the hotels attention to detail constantly improves. I'm also particularly impressed by the new refurbishment of the lobby and how the staff all seem to be alert smiling and positively responsive. 24 May 2013

The breakfast, although expensive, is the best in London. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is central and close to the tube. I look forward to my next visit! 22 May 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel with very professional Concierge Service I like this hotel. It is always nice to be there. Working table is a bit small for the rooms. Also housekeeping concept needs to be improved. I was disappointed with bed - for king/queen size bed they provide the guest room with twin matrasses put together. it is a shame. 20 May 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great service in lounge, instant service not cmfortable, reception still not helpful with transport arrangements very good, solid performance Lounger excellent staff, remember you and extremely friendly and helpful reception still not helpful with transportation - just point to concierge instead of walking you over concierge service outstanding we really need to look at laundry pressing service - the are really outrageous ie cheaper to buy a new pair of underpants than have them laundered would recommend hotel overall 17 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing 30+ something birthday Once again I headed into the Park Lane residence for a weekends celebrations as I advanced a further year. I was welcomed warmly by the Club Lounge manager Maria and was quickly set-up with a welcome beverage and nibbles, it was cocktail hour afterall. I was with a friend who was rather taken aback by it all, the service was great as normal. I had a marvellous weekend and the hotel got it all right, lovely welcome amenity and birthday card was waiting in the room. Breakfast and afternoon tea in the lounge was great. I'll be back and I suppose I'll bring the parents as well 15 May 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bogged down and very understaffed This is a great hotel - good location, pretty good rooms. But this hotel is severely understaffed now. A few examples: 1.The reception is always very crowded. You WILL have to wait for at least 10 minutes if not more. 2. Try calling the concierge or front desk. 9 times out of 10 no one will answer because they are busy serving customers in front of them, so they just cant answer the phone! These estimates are based on my attempts to interact with the hotel o ver two recent stays of average 4-5 days, so these are not isolated examples. The hotel management is strongly advised to fix this asap. Yes, they have a good location, and yes, their proximity to some Embassies guarantees a certain clientele, but poor service will ultimately lead to a disaster. As someone who has stayed here many many times, I would hate to move to another location, but things don't change fast, I will.... ALSO, the Ambassador upgrade is not really the same anymore. They give you a standard room with a better view and call that an upgrade! 15 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic hotel, brilliant location and friendly staff We stayed one night and loved every minute from check in where staff were really efficient and helpful, the room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate in Theo Randalls restaurant which was excellent and good value - we booked the special offer and would recommend to anyone. Overall we had a fabulous stay. It is expensive but we thought it was money well spent to make the weekend special. Thanks to all staff at the hotel. 13 May 2013

The staff made sure that I had everything that I needed for my stay. The bar service, breakfast service and, in particular, the doormen were superb. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by room location I had a wonderful experience at Park Lane. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because my room was a corner room between two adjoining buildings. When I lie in bed I look straight at the rooms kitty corner from mine. There was a view on the other side but I have to work the curtains pretty often for my privacy. 22 April 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic London Hotel We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hyde Park and had a fantastic experience. The rooms are huge for London and the staff is phenomenal. The lobby and lobby bar were so pleasant with gorgeous fresh spring flowers. Our 2 rooms were very large. We were traveling for business and pleasure from Dallas, Texas and brought our 2 and 4 year old boys. The room for the kids was just as large and comfortable as our room. The shower/bath was large and clean with great water pressure. This was also the quietest London room we've stayed in--we didn't hear a car or siren the entire stay. The staff was wonderful recommending great restaurants and sites. Thank you for a wonderful experience - we look forward to our next visit when we return to London. 22 April 2013

The initial imposing size and scale of the building, belies the intimacy of the hotel within, and the care offered by the personnel. After two visits they remember your name, and on the third they're taking an educated guess on your preferences. For leisure or business alike, I recommend this hotel, B 18 April 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad service have several notes on bad hotel service 1 - no breakfast is let us know the existence of the person 2 - the insurance payment from the card room's bank account but Tfajoh deduct amounts from the account accidentally Hotel banking Alahasabi. 3 - There are no hospitality room of water or fruit. 4 - pay 20 pounds for 2 box note that most of the hotel offered free of charge. 5 - smelly and discomfort in the room 17 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Family Easter Break In London This was our 2nd stay at your hotel. The great location and overall design features made us choose this particular hotel. We had booked our rooms through the IHG website, however this wasn't 'troube-free' as we found out when receiving our confirmation. While reception areas, bars, fitness club and rooms are all extremely well laid out and decorated with a lot of taste, we felt that the 'food-quality' at the Cookbook café did not live up to our expectations. Internet charges are still not included in the hotel-rates nor come as part of the Ambassador package, which is difficult to comprehend. 15 April 2013

Service was very good with the exception of one of the concierges (a woman by the name of Ilga, not sure of spelling). She forgot to make several of our restaurant reservations. However another concierge Michael went above and beyond to take care of reservations and also helped us out with various other London ideas. Hotel is located in a good location for getting around. 07 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Hotel and Service. We just recently stayed there using points. Everything about our stay was perfect from the very beginning. We arrived extremely early and our luggage was secured and delivered to our room once the room was ready. I had earlier requested a certain type of room via email with Samantha and it was exactly as requested. Thank you very much. Also, I'd like to add a special thanks to Kristine (Guest Relations Mgr). We took a day trip and we left some sensitive documents on the desk near the trash can (I actually thought I may have accidentally thrown them in the trash). I called and requested the room to not be serviced, but when I called, the room had already been cleaned. When we arrived back from our trip we were greeted by Kristine and were explained the situation. But, returning to the room, the documents were on the desk and all was well. Thanks to Samantha, Kristine, and the entire staff for making our 5 night stay very enjoyable. Thanks.... 06 April 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb hotel We had a two night weekend stay and from check-in we enjoyed the experience. Allocated a room on the corner of the hotel with a window overlooking Wellington Arch and the view from the second window was of Hyde Park. Courteous, smiling staff members greeting us with genuine warmth made our stay just that little bit more special. Location - easy connections to the tube network via Hyde Park station close by. Buckingham Palace a 5 minute walk away. 09 March 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful London Thanks to the Park Lane another wonderful stay in Europe´s best city. We got an upgrade in an incredible suite with view of Hide Park Corner. The Club Lounge offered drinks anf fantasic breakfast with excellent servive. We hope to be back soon. 09 March 2013
