Everything about our stay in London was fabulous. It was my daughter's first time to visit Europe and we had a wonderful time. However, the only negative experience in the hotel was the room service personnel answering the phone in the kitchen. He was very short on the phone and never got the order correct. He needs better phone manners.

I ve stayed probably a dozen of times at this property until i reached the decision to stop using it.
i will just say the main reason:poor service,arrogant staff and no full recognition for loyalty status.

Booked a family room (2 Adults +1 Child) and when we arrived it was a double room only and we were then give a fold up bed for our ten year old son. The room was therefore very cramped and being there for a 50th Birthday Celebration it certainly was took the edge off the celebration.
The location, reception and staff were all fantastic, but the room was very poor.

HAD TO WAIT FOR 15 MINS TO CHECK IN ONLY ONE RECEPTIONST ON DUTY EVEN THOUGH I AM PLANTIUM AMBASSSADOR!!!!!! WAS THERE WITH MY FAMILY ROOM WAS VERY SMALL REQUSTEAD FOR A CHANGE OF ROOM HAD TO WAIT FOR OVER 20 MINSUTES MORE SO I COULD NOT UNPACK WAS THEN SHOWED ANOTHER ROOM WAS JUST THE SAME,WAS THEN TOLD WE WILL FIND ANOTHER ROOM THIS NEVER HAPPENED,ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE DUTY MANAGER STILL WAITING FOR A CALL BACK TILL TODAY.

The hotel location is very good but the service was very bad i never see room service like this they are very careless , no respect to any demend for room service .i have ambassadore card but i found that it dose have any previlige with it .realy it is waste of time and spent of money for nothing .i do not recommend this hotel to any one unless it is location but you can find the same location with better services realy i was shocked by the way they answered the clients .i hope any of the responsable of the hotel contact me to explaine to him my very bad stay .

We are now into our tenth year of staying in Park Lane. The principal attractions are both its location and its access to the West End and to the Royal Parks.
However its staff, particularly at reception and in the Club Lounge, deserve a full mention. What could be a standard, although attractive, five star hotel is made much more attractive and comfortable. For us it has be come a "Home From Home"

Once again staying at the london intercontinental has surpassed itself , ranging from the reception staff to the club room
Lounge including a bed that everytime you dive into its all embracing warmth, softness and comfort reminds you that the hotels attention to detail constantly improves. I'm also particularly impressed by the new refurbishment of the lobby and how the staff all seem to be alert smiling and positively responsive.

I love this hotel. It is, by far, my favorite business hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast, although expensive, is the best in London. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is central and close to the tube. I look forward to my next visit!

I like this hotel. It is always nice to be there.
Working table is a bit small for the rooms.
Also housekeeping concept needs to be improved.
I was disappointed with bed - for king/queen size bed they provide the guest room with twin matrasses put together. it is a shame.

Lounger excellent staff, remember you and extremely friendly and helpful
reception still not helpful with transportation - just point to concierge instead of walking you over
concierge service outstanding
we really need to look at laundry pressing service - the are really outrageous ie cheaper to buy a new pair of underpants than have them laundered
would recommend hotel overall

Once again I headed into the Park Lane residence for a weekends celebrations as I advanced a further year.
I was welcomed warmly by the Club Lounge manager Maria and was quickly set-up with a welcome beverage and nibbles, it was cocktail hour afterall.
I was with a friend who was rather taken aback by it all, the service was great as normal. I had a marvellous weekend and the hotel got it all right, lovely welcome amenity and birthday card was waiting in the room. Breakfast and afternoon tea in the lounge was great.
I'll be back and I suppose I'll bring the parents as well

This is a great hotel - good location, pretty good rooms.
But this hotel is severely understaffed now. A few examples:
1.The reception is always very crowded. You WILL have to wait for at least 10 minutes if not more.
2. Try calling the concierge or front desk. 9 times out of 10 no one will answer because they are busy serving customers in front of them, so they just cant answer the phone!
These estimates are based on my attempts to interact with the hotel o ver two recent stays of average 4-5 days, so these are not isolated examples.
The hotel management is strongly advised to fix this asap.
Yes, they have a good location, and yes, their proximity to some Embassies guarantees a certain clientele, but poor service will ultimately lead to a disaster.
As someone who has stayed here many many times, I would hate to move to another location, but things don't change fast, I will....
ALSO, the Ambassador upgrade is not really the same anymore. They give you a standard room with a better view and call that an upgrade!

We stayed one night and loved every minute from check in where staff were really efficient and helpful, the room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate in Theo Randalls restaurant which was excellent and good value - we booked the special offer and would recommend to anyone. Overall we had a fabulous stay. It is expensive but we thought it was money well spent to make the weekend special. Thanks to all staff at the hotel.

From th moment that I arrived until the moment I left, the experience was fantastic. My room was ready when I arrived. The staff made sure that I had everything that I needed for my stay. The bar service, breakfast service and, in particular, the doormen were superb. Thank you for making a quick trip to London very enjoyable.

I had a wonderful experience at Park Lane. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because my room was a corner room between two adjoining buildings. When I lie in bed I look straight at the rooms kitty corner from mine. There was a view on the other side but I have to work the curtains pretty often for my privacy.

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hyde Park and had a fantastic experience. The rooms are huge for London and the staff is phenomenal. The lobby and lobby bar were so pleasant with gorgeous fresh spring flowers. Our 2 rooms were very large. We were traveling for business and pleasure from Dallas, Texas and brought our 2 and 4 year old boys. The room for the kids was just as large and comfortable as our room. The shower/bath was large and clean with great water pressure. This was also the quietest London room we've stayed in--we didn't hear a car or siren the entire stay.
The staff was wonderful recommending great restaurants and sites.
Thank you for a wonderful experience - we look forward to our next visit when we return to London.

This property has fast become a London favourite. The initial imposing size and scale of the building, belies the intimacy of the hotel within, and the care offered by the personnel. have several notes on bad hotel service
1 - no breakfast is let us know the existence of the person
2 - the insurance payment from the card room's bank account but Tfajoh deduct amounts from the account accidentally Hotel banking Alahasabi.
3 - There are no hospitality room of water or fruit.
4 - pay 20 pounds for 2 box note that most of the hotel offered free of charge.
5 - smelly and discomfort in the room

This was our 2nd stay at your hotel. The great location and overall design features made us choose this particular hotel. We had booked our rooms through the IHG website, however this wasn't 'troube-free' as we found out when receiving our confirmation. While reception areas, bars, fitness club and rooms are all extremely well laid out and decorated with a lot of taste, we felt that the 'food-quality' at the Cookbook café did not live up to our expectations. Internet charges are still not included in the hotel-rates nor come as part of the Ambassador package, which is difficult to comprehend.

Stayed a week at this hotel and it is very well worth the stay. Staff and Executive Lounge was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel to friends, family and business partners. It is well placed with a tube entry at the door. Will stay at this hotel again in future visits.
