From the service at the desk, bar and restaurent to the exchange with the concierge everything was top notch. As for the location its well located on the steps of old Montreal. 21 January 2015
    Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel for the Price and Location Attended the Montreal Auto Show 2015 in January. Needed a nice place and cost effective place to stay. This place was right next to the Montreal Convention Center and price was excellent. Hotel is next to many excellent food and restaurants that are a minute or two walking distance.     Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room Service on the decline? I love this hotel because of its proximity to everything but a few things have bothered me lately. I am a Platinum Ambassador member and I would normally stay at Intercontinental Hotels when am on the road. I am almost a regular at this hotel but a few things have been bothering me lately, including my latest stay this month. Foremost, is room service. If I remember right, not once has anyone answered the phone when I call room service. Sometimes I let it ring for a minute and still no one picks up. I always revert to dialing "0" and the response I get is "I will have them call you back, sir." If the hotel does not encourage room service, then take the menu out of the rooms. As a habit, I like to have breakfast in my room. I used to get cup cakes and a big bottle of water in my room but not lately. I don't really eat the cup cakes but it gives you a good feeling that they welcome your stay as a Platinum Ambassador. I book a corner club rooms and get upgraded (thank you) to a tourelle suite. But why is there no mini bar in those suites? Sometimes late at night you just want a stiff drink to put you to sleep and all you have is water. However, I will still recommend this hotel to colleagues. 13 January 2015
