We loved our stay here. The facilities are excellent, the grounds are immaculate, and the position is just beautiful.
We enjoyed being able to experience the local way of life by visiting the village next door.
The hotel staff and the locals all made us feel safe and welcome in their community and our children had a fabulous time.
On the last day when our plane was delayed, a guest room was provided to us to freshen up which was a very very generous touch which we very much appreciated.
We have travelled extensively and would have to say the genuine warmth and friendliness felt from the locals in this country is amazing (from the moment we arrived until the moment we flew out).
We will definately be back.

The overall experience of being at the Intercontinental is one to remember. It was only for 2 days with business and pleasure but it was definitely worth with the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food is another story but I can say it's exquisite. I would definitely make it a point to go back again.

More room guidelines and instructions should be available in the room. I am not sure wheather some of the items in the room including the bar are free, or are included in the in the room payment made. I am scared to use some of the things for instance, the softdrinks, thinking that your might ask me to pay extra money when I checked out.

Best resort i have ever experienced could not fault a thing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay more enjoyable. The location of the resort was perfect as the beach was the best we visited on the main land of Fiji. Everything about this resort is first class would not consider staying anywhere else in Fiji.

My husband and I recently spent 11 nights at this resort (end of Nov). Upon check-in we were upgraded to a Club Suite with our own plunge pool which was a wonderful bonus. The hotel is laid out amongst tropical gardens with the Club rooms up on the hillside.
Although this meant a 5 min walk to the beach and the rest of the resort there was always a golf buggy on standby to take you wherever you wanted to go if you didn't feel like walking. There was also an adults only pool area and bar/lounge specifically for Club members.
Even though there are another 2 pools in the main resort area the beach is gorgeous and swimmable at both high and low tide, with a lagoon area that is shallow enough to walk across at low tide, giving you access to Navo Island, so there is no shortage of swimming options.
The rooms are immaculately clean and modern (the resort is only 5 years old) and you can actually sleep with the air conditioning on as it's not noisy like many other hotels we have stayed at in the past. The food is also great quality with 3 restaurants to choose from - the main offering themed buffet each night but also allowing a la carte should one person not want to partake in the theme whilst the other does (eg, seafood night where my partner loves it but I don't!).
Whilst everything was wonderful I think the friendliness of the staff and their smiling faces wherever you went really made this place. I would not hesitate to go back as it was a great all round place that catered for both couples and families.

I was fortunate to be upgraded to an oceanfront room. The outdoor area of the room was fantastic, including an outdoor soaking tub!
The beach is white sand and beautiful. There is an outer reef, so the water stays shallow for a long way. There is a nice adult only pool area which we enjoyed. Our suggestions would be better food/drink service at the pool and better "house" type music. But, those are small suggestions. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were clean and lovely. The food was very good, if not a bit pricey for Fiji. My only criticism would be slow response when my door wouldn't unlock when I was checking in (it took over 30 minutes to get into my room) and a requested converter was never delivered as promised. The staff is a bit on Fiji time and at times we had to request napkins and silverware more than once before it was delivered. These small criticisms are far outweighed by the beauty of the rooms, beach and grounds and the friendliness of the staff.
