We had a lovely family holiday. My wife and I had a beach facing room and the kids were in the room behind us but attached to our room. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. The food selection is fabulous and we all ate too much. The hotel faces west so there are beautiful sunsets over the ocean.
My son and I made good use of the dive centre, and the dive sites are literally a 5 minute boat ride away. My wife and daughter visited the spa on two occasions and really enjoyed that.

Overall we enjoyed out stay. Staff and service was pretty good. the girls in Kama lounge had attitude at times but the staff in the restaurants and FO were lovely.
Food and drinks really overpriced.
Loved the pools and the beach access.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rossco17 Fantastic location, great service and a memorable golf course
The three of us had a great time at the Fiji Intercontinental. This was our second trip and on both occasions the staff service and attention to detail has been first class.
The Intercontinental is a great place for a holiday, the resort is well laid out with plenty of room to move and has excellent food choices.
The golf course which is next door is well manicured, a visual delight and extremely challenging.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. The food was incredible, the staff was over the top! The room was the best room we have ever stayed in! This resort is the best in class! We appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Many remembered that we came from Seattle, WA USA and chatted with us about living in Seattle. The concierge helped us set up fantastic excursions. The private plunge pool on our patio was delightful!! Appreciated the buggy rides up to our villa each evening!! Would love to return. The only downside were the people approaching us and everyone on the beach to try to sell their activities. Was a bit heavy handed. Wished the location was a bit closer to the airport and town center, but was in heaven while at the resort!

The hotel property is nearly an hour from the airport. Beautiful property with Club Intercontinental at the 'top' of the resort - creates a long walk down to the beach. Hotel staff will transport in a golf cart if you are willing to wait. It might be nice to have access to bicycles or some other means of convenient transportation within the resort. The beach surrounding the hotel is beautiful.
Club Intercontinental staff and amenities are excellent for this property. Last summer I was at Intercontinental Bali and I would rate the Fiji beach higher, but would rate the Club experience at Bali higher (and the club experience at Fiji is excellent).
I was in a Club Intercontinental, 2 bedroom, with pool - was very pleasing, with a contemporary decor. I wasn't able to use the Internet in the room (way too slow), but the wired Internet in the Club Intercontinental served my needs.
Club Intercontinental staff made for an amazing visit.

We have experienced many years of Fiji on many islands, resorts and underwater.
Intercontinental is not a realistic Fiji experience but has excellent accommodation and amenities for those who want comfort and care little about Fiji culture. So we say to those who prefer comfort over experiencing beautiful Fiji, IHG is for you. Too bad IHG doesn't provide more of native Fijian atmosphere, kava, lovo cooking, authentic village life etc. Your choice of course. For us this is total pampering prior to or after immersion (literally) in the real Fiji experience.
