The staff here are amazing the receptionist was amazing and so helpful and the bed was perfect I had one if the best nights of sleep here thank you all for an amazing stay

Was not greeted with a friendly hello, she came from out back. We got to our room and the door was ajar. Trash bags were sitting in front of door. The bathroom floor you can see bare footprints. We called down to front desk and she was going to give us another room, told us to wait in room until she called back. We waited 10/15 mins. I want down to front desk and she had an attitude saying sorry it was non stop here. She gave us a handicap room. It stuck of dog and cigarettes, the floor was sticky. We couldn't get out fast enough.

You can’t find a better place to stay in Ft Payne, AL. This is a beautiful NEW hotel.
The staff is amazing. The entire hotel seems to be built with ADA compliance in mind. I’ve stayed here 4 times, each time my room had low step in showers! I have mobility issues and I can sit on any chair, been or toilet without having difficulty getting up.

I will not stay here again

Our first room had blood on the sheets and floor. The shower was old and had stains on the walls. We asked to be moved. The front desk person did not even apologize for the lack of cleanliness she just handed me a new room key and said the room was on the first floor and there were no other options.
The second room was not much cleaner. The shower was stained and floors looked dirty. The bed was terrible. There was noise from neighbors, the ice machine and staff early at 5 AM. This hotel may have an updated lobby but the rest of it is just gross.

The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. The friendliest staff around. I would recommend this hotel if you want a family oriented place to stay.

Noisy Neighbor

Not necessarily the hotels fault but the adjoining room blasted their tv all night long. Called the front desk and they tried to call him and he didn’t answer. They offered to move us at 2:00 am and I said no I’m not packing my stuff up. I felt like they should have pounded on his door until he opened it.

We watched this property being built and were anxious to try it when it was completed. The price was fantastic, and the hotel was great. Beautiful room, friendly and helpful staff, and good breakfast. Everything was clean and shiny. We’ll definitely be stopping at avid in Ft Payne any time we’re in that area.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good both mornings and we liked having coffee when ever we wanted it. We will be staying there again in September.

Never Heard of this Hotel But Will be Looking for it in the Future

While looking for a hotel for the night, Avid was listed on the Trivago website. I had never heard of this chain but took a chance based on the reviews posted. I will be looking for them in the future.
