You'll find many fun activities inside the city itself, but the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest also needs to be seen to be believed, and much of it is within reach within 45 minutes. Give yourself an extra day and pack your hiking boots to visit one of the many stunning natural parks outside the city. Or make a day trip to wine country to tour vineyards and sample a variety of vintages.
