You can commission a Picasso of your own or just go to observe the artists at work. The Dafen Metro stops a short walk from the hotel, so getting there is easy.
Special holiday and international events take place throughout the year at Window of the World, a theme park about 25 minutes west of the hotel by car or Metro. This entertainment park presents an impressive display of replicas of famous natural wonders, historic sites and buildings from around the world. Seasonal events include Japanese Cherry, International Beer and Pop Music Festivals.
The Shenzhen Metro subway system is an easy and fast way to navigate the city. Train announcements are given in Mandarin, Cantonese and English to help visitors find their way. The closest station is a five-minute walk from the hotel, and our concierge is happy to provide a map if you need it.
Golfers can head to nearby Shenzhen Golf Club, 15 minutes west by car, for a quick nine holes. Or, drive 40 minutes to Mission Hills Golf Club, the world’s largest golf complex. Its 12 courses were professionally designed by superstars such as Jumbo Ozaki and Vijay Singh.
Strolling to the top of Lianhuashan Park. At its peak is a statue of Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, who turned Shenzhen from a fishing village into a steel-clad urban titan. Stand alongside him and marvel that 30 years ago the city before you didn't exist.
