Located in Kalkaji, the temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower and is the last of seven Major Bahai temples in the world. Set amongst the lush green landscaped gardens, the structure is made up of pure white marble. The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. Adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple to pray or meditate. Around the blooming petals, there are nine pools of water, which light up in natural light.

A world heritage site under UNESCO, Humayun’s Tomb was built in 1570 by Humayun’s wife Haji Begum. It is unarguably one of the most spectacular works of Mughal Architecture to which Taj Mahal owes its design. Humayun Tomb secures grave of the Mughal Emperor, Humayun as well as the royal family members such as Bega Begum, Dara Shikoh and Hamida Begum. The tomb is made of red sandstone and white marbles .

The Garden of Five Senses is a park spread over 20 acres near the Mehrauli heritage area in Delhi. Partly built over a rocky terrain, the garden has various theme areas, including a section on the lines of Mughal Gardens, plus pools of water lilies, bamboo courts, herb gardens and a solar energy park. Visitors can relax, enjoy the park's amenities and take a break from the daily routine of their hectic lives, as well as develop a greater sensitivity to the environment.

The India gate, which has been called a "creative reworking of the” Arc de Triomphe" has a span of 30 feet, and lies on the eastern axial end of Kingsway, present day Rajpath, the central vista and main ceremonial procession route in New Delhi. The 42-metre (138-foot)-tall India gate, stands on a low base of red Bharatpur stone and rises in stages to a huge moulding. The shallow domed bowl at the top was intended to be filled with burning oil on anniversaries.

Khan Market is almost in the heart of the city, close to India Gate. It has a wide variety of stores, including modern showrooms of most of well-known brands, silver jewellery stores, delicatessens, bookstores, paints and hardware stores, electronics, kitchenware, and fabric stores mingle with some of the better restaurants.It is also famous for food including kebabs and a retail market for lighting fixtures on the ground floor.

Dilli Haat is a open-air food plaza cum craft bazaar, run by Delhi Tourism.At present Delhi has two such bazaars, one near AIIMS on Sri Aurobindo Marg and the second, Dilli Haat is situated in Pitampura, in North Delhi, established in April 2008. Dilli Haat has permanent food stalls representing each state of India, giving a complete variety of tastes available all over India, while the crafts stall change every 15 days.Dilli Haat has become a venue of crafts, music, dance and cultural festivals

The tomb of Mohammed Shah, the last of the Sayyid dynasty rulers, was built in 1444 by Ala-ud-din Alam Shah as a tribute to Mohammed Shah. As there is little architecture from these two periods remaining in India, Lodi Gardens is an important place of preservation. The tomb is visible from the road and is the earliest structure in the gardens. The architecture is characterised by the octagonal chamber, with stone chhajjas on the roof and guldastas on the corners.

The Delhi Golf Club is one of the oldest golf-courses in Asia and the oldest one in Delhi. It was founded in the 1920's as the Lodhi Club.The course was originally laid out by the British, integrating existing Mughal structures and tombs into the course. It became a corporate entity on 24th February 1950.Today, it is a favourite meeting point of the Delhi elite and hosts various tournaments and cups such as the Indian Open.

Connaught Place is one of the largest and most vibrant business districts of Delhi . It houses the headquarters of several Indian firms . Its surroundings occupy a place of pride amongst the heritage structures of the city . It was developed as a showpiece of Lutyens' Delhi featuring a Central Business District . The area is instantly recognisable on any map of Delhi, being the big circle in the middle with radial roads spreading out in all directions, like spokes on a wheel .

Visit the magnificent Qutub Minar, second largest tower in India.A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Minaret is made of fluted red sandstone covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an.It is notable for being one of the earliest and most prominent example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Archaeologists and metallurgists call it a " testament to the skill of ancient Indian Blacksmiths."
