There are cafés everywhere, but Konditorei Heinemann in Mönchengladbach is special: this is where the world-famous men's cake was invented. In 1932, founder Hermann Heinemann would never have dreamed that there would be branches in Krefeld, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Munich. The gentleman's cake consists of six Viennese bases, marzipan cream with Riesling and chocolate fondant. Heinemann also offers breakfast, lunch, brunch and numerous confectionery specialities.

Welcome to the Mönchengladbach climbing church, where prayers and climbing adventures are combined. This church offers spiritual enlightenment and physical fitness. A room in the gallery is reserved for prayers and meditative tranquillity. Ready for heavenly heights? Hallelujah!
