Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Miami Marathon I was in town to participate in the Miami Marathon. This hotel was an excellent choice as it was walking distance to the start and finish lines. Really good restaurants close by and the hotel restaurant was superb. The only con to the hotel is the ridiculous $27/night valet parking. I would definitely stay here again but management should seriously consider reducing the cost of parking. February 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above and beyond I'm a peritoneal dialysis patient, and I require a lot of medical supplies. I had these supplies delivered to this hotel a few days before I arrived. Guest Relations employee Hugo assured me via telephone they would accept the delivery and hold supplies for me. I arrived a few days after delivery and supplies were there. Hugo was very friendly and helpful in person. He allowed me to keep some supplies at the hotel while I was on my cruise, and he held them for me until I got back. It was nice to be able to keep my supplies here both before and during my cruise. I highly recommend this hotel for service and quality of people working there. February 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect location The location was an extremely short walk to American Airlines Arena. The shopping across the street was awesome. The hotel restaurant has a good dinner menu, unfortunately we could not get staff to seat us. It appeared that the dinner staff had to to everything including bus the tables. Which left no one to handle patrons arriving to dine. We left as did 6 other couples we all went across the street to the marketplace. The entrance of the hotel was clean and inviting as was the staff. The hotel does have security! February 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location This hotel was across from the Port and the Bayside Market. The lobby was very appealing and the rooms were clean. We arrived at 9:30pm and tried to order Room Service. It took 4 tries of calling the extension and finally going through the front desk before anybody answered the phone. The food was good but not spectacular. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. February 2, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Done With This Property Ug. I am sorry to say I am done with giving this property "one more chance." I have stayed here many times for business over the past five or so years. The location is fantastic, but that is about it. There always seems to be an issue when I stayed here. This time there were three. Nearly my entire stay this time, only one of the three elevators worked. There was a queue for the sole elevator much of the time! With cruises goers embarking (with all their luggage) and the Miami Marathon runners coming and going, it took quite a bit of time to get to the car and to your floor. The hotel restaurant "bar" was closed. They did not have their liquor license for some reason. I don't know it they lost it or suspended it; but you could not get a drink at the bar. Thankfully the hotel is in a vibrant neighborhood where one could find a libation. Lastly, and worst of all, was the parking situation. This has long been an issue with the property but this time it was terrible. The first day I needed my car, it took quite a bit of time to retrieve my car from the garage. The second day it was unacceptable. It took nearly 45 minutes for my car to arrive from the time I called down. I called ahead, as instructed, to have the car retrieved. When I got to the valet stand, they were not informed by the front desk of my call. Then the attendant went and got someone else's car from the garage before mine, though I was there first. Then she went to get my car and was gone for 10-15 minutes (conservative estimate.) Only to find my car was in the parking lot directly behind the hotel! It was right there the entire time. What should have taken less than five minutes took 45. I nearly missed my flight due to the incompetency! January 29, 2016
