Spend an afternoon exploring one of the largest collections of military helicopters. The U.S. Army Aviation Museum at Fort Novosel traces Army aviation from the Wright Brothers to modern rotorcraft, with more than 160 aircraft on display. Exhibits include rotary-wing technology, uniforms, and medals. Admission is free. The museum sits about 10 miles from the hotel on Fort Novosel, so plan for gate access and bring a photo ID. Fort Novosel is a United States Army post and the primary driver of travel to the Enterprise area. Named for Medal of Honor recipient Michael J. Novosel, the base is the home of Army aviation training. A short twenty-minute drive from the hotel brings you to the Enterprise Gate, making us convenient for graduations, family visits, and training. The post has three 24-hour gates from Daleville, Ozark, and Enterprise, so base access is straightforward once credentials are sorted.
