The Wasaga Beach Casino, officially known as Gateway Casino Wasaga Beach, is a new entertainment destination located just a short drive from Collingwood in the nearby beach town of Wasaga Beach. Opened in late 2022, the casino features a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility with a wide range of gaming options, including electronic and live table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, as well as hundreds of slot machines.

he GNE, short for the Great Northern Exhibition, is a beloved annual fair held just outside Collingwood, typically in September, celebrating agriculture, community, and rural traditions in the South Georgian Bay area. Hosted at the GNE Fairgrounds in Clearview Township, the event features livestock shows, equestrian competitions, local crafts, homegrown produce competitions, demolition derbies, live music, a midway with rides and games, and lots of classic fair food.
