Constructed and opened July 2022, this facility is one-of-a-kind in Ontario and an asset to the Welland community and sport and recreation user groups across the Niagara Region. There are six dedicated pickleball courts and three tennis courts with line overlays. Six pickleball courts, five beach volleyball courts, one full-sized basketball court, two half basketball courts, amenity building with canteen, washrooms, and office/equipment storage. Also, the facility is fully lit.

Experience the magic of Niagara Falls, which consists of three waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side, and it’s the largest of the three, with a width of about 640 metres and a height of 57 metres. That’s taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa! The Welland International Flatwater Centre is a canoeing, kayaking and rowing facility in Welland, Ontario, Canada and was used for the 2013 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships and the 2015 Pan American Games. The facility was renovated in 2013, before the U23 championships began. It is used for several annual aquatic sporting events.

Welland Stadium is a 3,375-seat spectator-friendly ballpark with multiple fields. Now home to the 2023 IBL Champions, the Welland Jackfish, the stadium was also once home to the Welland Pirates, the Single-A affiliate of MLB's Pittsburgh Pirates from 1989 to 1994. The Stadium first opened in 1989 and has been home to professional baseball, senior baseball, and minor baseball over its twenty-nine-year history.

The Welland Canal is an important waterway that connects Lake Ontario and Lake Erie and is part of the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System. It helps move goods between the Atlantic Ocean and the interior of North America, including Canada. As beautiful as it is useful, you can enjoy walking or biking the Welland Canal Parkway Trail in the summer or cross-country skiing it in the winter.

Visit one of the most historic vineyards in the region, Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery, a family-owned winery. The Lowrey family has owned the farm and vineyard since 1867. The estate’s 34 acres grow organic grapes, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Visit the estate to sip organic wines, go on guided tours, and eat fresh, farm-to-table food at the family’s restaurant.

Just one block from Niagara’s Horseshoe Falls is a world of wonder: Clifton Hill, also known as the Street of Fun by the Falls. If you’re brave, ride the Niagara SkyWheel and soar up 175 feet for panoramic views of the falls. Tour all the strange and interesting things at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, check out local restaurants and shops, or experience nightlife, Niagara style.

Queen Victoria Park is a historic and gorgeous park established in 1888, and it sits right across from Horseshoe Falls. Enjoy wandering through well-maintained gardens growing all sorts of plants and flowers from Canada and around the world. In the spring, don’t miss the park’s display of 500,000 daffodils. With walking paths, benches, and tasteful landscaping, the park is a perfect place to enjoy the waterfalls.
