Xi 'an Bell Tower is located in the center of Xi 'an, at the intersection of east, West, North, south and four main streets within the Ming City Wall. It is the largest and best-preserved bell tower in China.Built in 1384 in the 17th year of The Reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty, it was originally built at the entrance of guangji Street, opposite to the Drum Tower. In 1582, the 10th year of the Reign of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Emperor moved to the present site.
