The temple is currently used as the headquarters of the 4th Parish of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Meanwhile, the ancient fir tree grove surrounding the temple precincts from all sides adds to the serene beauty of this age-old spiritual retreat.

This cattle ranch is the largest of its kind in Asia. Also, in the Hourglass Park beside the station, there is a large hourglass running all year. On December 31st every year, this hourglass turns upside down over a period of 13 minutes when all of the sand has dropped.
