The temple is currently used as the headquarters of the 4th Parish of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Many Buddhist treasures from bygone centries are housed in this sanctuary such as the nine-story octagonal stone pagoda with some of its religious relics being on display at the Seongbo Museum. On December 31st every year, this hourglass turns upside down over a period of 13 minutes when all of the sand has dropped.
