The temple is currently used as the headquarters of the 4th Parish of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Many Buddhist treasures from bygone centries are housed in this sanctuary such as the nine-story octagonal stone pagoda with some of its religious relics being on display at the Seongbo Museum. Meanwhile, the ancient fir tree grove surrounding the temple precincts from all sides adds to the serene beauty of this age-old spiritual retreat.

This cattle ranch is the largest of its kind in Asia. The idyllic scene of a herd of cattle lazily grazing on this vast rolling pasture against the scenic mountains backdrop of Gangwon-do is a thing of beauty which will strike a chord in all nature lovers. The ranch is dotted with grazing areas for cattle, sheep, ostriches and rabbits.

Jeongdongjin Station, which is listed the Guinness Book of World Records for the closest railroad station to the sea in the world, is the most favorite place for Korean young lovers to visit. Also, in the Hourglass Park beside the station, there is a large hourglass running all year. On December 31st every year, this hourglass turns upside down over a period of 13 minutes when all of the sand has dropped.

Golf 700 golf course features a picturesque 18-hole course stretched out amidst the natural landscape of Daegwallyeong at an elevation of 700 metres. Each hole is designed after a famous golf course including Augusta National and Pebble Beach, and features terrains with varying levels of difficulty.
