距海边沙滩很近

距离海边沙滩很近，海水比巴东好。酒店房间很舒服，并贴心的安排了收费加床给孩子。餐厅还可以，在泳池边吃的晚饭，中规中矩。早餐有些简单，感觉不知道有啥可吃的。

Bad food service

you wait longer than an hour to get your food, and me and my whole family got sick either from the food or the ocean, our tummies where upset vomiting cramping etc.

All and all a good sray. Been staying in 4 srar hotels in Thailand for the last 9 years. Food and beverage was the best dept. Roomservice needs help, under staffed.
To many trainees at check in, but was ok.
Garden at the back rooms needs urgent attention. When you sit on balcony, you dont want to see a sad garden.
Enjoyed our stay. Had 2 x rooms for 6 nights. Will recommend the hotel to friends.

Great staff but older facilities

Great staff this is our yearly trip so we opted for a room pool. Unfortunately, the pool was dirty, and it took maintenance three days to fix the jets but left us without lights. The A/C also works when it wants.

The staff is very good and the rooms are nice, but cleanliness overall is a big problem. The entire resort feels unsanitary, and there is the smell of sewage in the air at all times. I got very sick staying there. The food ordered at the pool cafe was disgusting.

Location: Proximity to the beach made it convenient and enjoyable.

Buffet Breakfast: A delightful start to your day with a variety of options.

Nice stay with some improvement points

We stayed for two nights at the Holiday Inn Resort Karon Phuket, and while there were some positives, there were a few things that could be improved.

The location is fantastic – it’s just a short walk to Karon Beach, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful views and the beach throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice balcony view. Also, the service provided by the manager Au was really amazing. However, one major issue was the air conditioner, which was very loud and made it hard to sleep at times.

We also had a problem with mosquitoes. Despite using repellent, we still ended up getting bitten all over our hands and feet, especially since we weren’t fully covered while sleeping. It was uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience.

Another thing to note is that the pictures we saw on Google Maps didn’t quite reflect the actual condition of the hotel. The infrastructure seemed to be in need of updating, and it didn’t match the more polished look portrayed online.

Overall, while we enjoyed some aspects of our stay, there are definitely areas for improvement, particularly with the room condition and the bug issue.

I’m not sure why this hotel has lower star rating from other guests. We were welcomed from the start, room upgrade and taken care of. The pool is very large and the room appeared recently renovated. Close to great beach and running track.

Добрый день. Находились в отеле с 04.11.2024 года по 14.11.2024 года. Отель очень понравился. Быстрое заселение, чистота в номерах. Все вопросы решались достаточно быстро. Завтраки стандартные, выбрать есть что. Единственное, на выбор можно было бы предоставить пару молочных каш.
Территория отеля ухоженная, чистые бассейны. От отеля через дорогу находится море, но переход достаточно опасный, было бы отлично, если бы в отеле озаботились подходом к морю.
В целом отель порекомендую семьям с детьми, все необходимое для полноценного отдыха в отеле есть. Если будет возможность остановиться в отеле, приеду сюда еще раз. Огромное спасибо персоналу отеля за заботу о гостях, за доброжелательность и за решение всех вопросов.

disappointed in this hotel

I was quite disappointed with this facility. The first room (standard) was terrible. Lots of things (phone, trash can) were broken, shower was spilling water to the floor, AC controller did not work properly, the furniture as well as room condition overall was very poor. Though I was upgraded to a better room the next day, my overall experience at the hotel was spoiled.
Overall this hotel does not correspond to 4 star rating, especially considering it is part of IHG group. it reminded me more of 3-star Holiday inn express type of amenity, though i've stayed in better Express facilities in other countries.
