High end without the high end price

I can't wait to visit again, there is almost no reason to leave the hotel once you have arrived. It has everything except a beach and a good sports bar.

We stayed in this hotel exactly 3 years ago which was a new opening then. It was not a perfect stay but we thought that with time this would improve as hotel definitely had potential to be great. Sadly all shortcomings from 3 years ago did not improve at all and many aspects of the property worsen.
First what’s great - rooms, cleanliness and bedding are 5 star (make sure to get room not facing the main road as these are loud). Tip - go for pool view room or even better pool access room for a peaceful and a quiet stay.
Staff are really friendly and trying very hard but struggle to deliver service expected from this quality of a hotel.
Our check in was not great. We booked the pool view room for the reasons we mentioned above and during check in we were not offered elite benefit of room upgrade but in fact we were assigned room which we consider lower category to what we booked (garden view instead our booked pool room). Only after good 30 minutes discussing the issue with all levels of the management we were finally offered acceptable solution. But first attempts from the hotel side was to stick us into the room we did not book hoping we will take it. Not a great start to the stay.
During our stay we witnessed 2 more situations when the guests checking in were literally arguing with check in staff and proving with booking confirmation that they were being accommodated in lower category room than what they paid for.
General maintenance of the property seems being neglected as only 3 years since opening (not to mention last 2 years hotel was for sure not fully used) and there is lots of bits and pieces which cry for attention (loose tiles, broken pool parasols, loose wires etc). Plants around the hotel did not see any gardener for a long time (lots of dead leaves etc).
What let this hotel completely down and it is exactly the same disappointing experience as from the stay 3 years ago is their F&B operation.
What normally is one of the highlights of the day in good hotels - starting the day with a great breakfast, here we were sometimes even giving a miss as it’s simply poor on all levels.
Very poor selection of cold cuts, badly executed eggs served on a frying pans scratched so badly that you are worried you eat some flaking paint together with your eggs, and all breads and pastries are simply not fresh.
Even their dishes from Thai food corner lacked flavours and were bland.
What 3 years ago seemed as “new hotel-new team” issue which one would hope would be nailed down with time seems now more of a lack of management issue.
It’s really a shame as it could be amazing hotel but it looks like it will never get there.
We moved after 5 days at Indigo to Holiday Inn Patong beach resort and it was so much better experience on every single level.
Biggest credit at Indigo should go to housekeeping team - the lady who looked after our room was doing simply amazing job!

A beautiful hotel , walking distance to the beach . Fantastic management especially the Resort Mabager Ms. Sudarat/ Anne was very detail on ensuring a pleasant stay . This was my fourt stay this property. Must say it’s a really well managed and maintained hotel .
Great Breakfast. Nice evening live band . Great staffs . Truly comfortable bed and super clean. Love the place .

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and the location is convenient for beach access and road access to and from other locations.
We booked two rooms for Christmas and New Years Eve 2021, the staff welcomed us and arranged the rooms to be on the same floor.
The breakfast was wonderful with a buffet and cooked options. please ensure for the hotels benefit you include the number of guests for breakfast as your room may allow guests but breakfast is per registered guest.
Covid-19 measures were as good as can be expected from any hotel, with staff maintaining masks always and offering gloves for the buffet and masks. Some patrons were not wearing masks, but there were signs and suggestions throughout the hotel. The issue of patrons not wearing masks is common in Phuket, but staff offered free ones at breakfast in an attempt to help other guests.

Hoher Sauberkeitsstandard. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich jederzeit gut beraten und gut versorgt. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect of hospitality
Everything was top notch, Lob is a real Gem I have no words how genuinely he care about his guests and made me comfortable on my arrival and left the first impression of a wonderful and awesome caretaker

I stayed for around a month at Hotel Indigo Patong and had a really great time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to look after me. I stayed in a couple of different rooms: one with pool access and one junior suite. Both rooms were a decent size, clean and had all the amenities that I needed. The Internet was fast and I had no problems joining video calls or watching Netflix.
The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach and has two decent size swimming pools - The rooftop pool has a swim up bar. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to the main party street which is close enough if you want to go and see the sights but far enough away that the hotel has a relaxed, chilled vibe.
The restaurant (Pints, Pots and Tikis) has live music every night. I was really impressed by the quality of the the music and would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and some food. The staff were amazing here too. A special thanks to Pom for helping me to speak Thai and making me feel so welcome!
I would definitely recommend staying at this venue!

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. I didn’t want to leave. The rooms were charming, staff was amazing and quality of their food was delicious. The infinity pool on the roof rocked! Thank you for everything!
