We recently stayed at another Voco hotel and loved it, so we decided to try this one and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel was lovely, and the spa facilities; hot tub, swimming pool, and more were fantastic. The changing rooms, however, felt a bit dated and could use some modernising; they weren’t the most inviting, so I chose not to shower there. That said, our room was excellent: a comfortable bed, a great ensuite, and stylish modern décor throughout. Overall, it was a great stay, but a little maintenance in certain areas would make it a five-star experience.

Could improve car parking and maybe add more water to the room one bottle of still water isn’t enough for two people

I stay here yearly to attend a Quilt Con at the NEC: it about a 10 minute drive away from the venue. Great hotel. This visit was a little disappointing though. The restaurant was struggling with a large coach party to food was delayed. The food however is tasty both for dinner and breakfast, which has a large choice as expected. I do have a personal gripe though (but this is with all hotels) which is that the air conditioning does not go lower than 19 degrees so the room never feels cool enough to sleep comfortably (fans are available though).

Really good experience. Very clean, loved the shower. I ride a mobility scooter and the room was a bit onthe small side for it but the cleanliness ans comfort made up for it. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice and even eggs to order if desired. Definitely will book the next time we are in Solihull.

Great location, clean and stylish, room with great amenities. Restaurant staff and bar staff were excellent and check in staff helpful and informative. Was not aware of car park fee till check in.
Unfortunately on our last night we were woken by another irresponsible residents dog who barked continuously from before midnight till after one while they were missing. Night staff were not helpful and quite blunt handling the situation unsuccessfully. The issue was mentioned at check out but the receptionist was totally unaware of the previous nights issues no information had been relayed from night shift. The receptionist was content for us to depart and leave without any investigation.
