Beds are good but services are not

I think main problem is here House keeping. Bed sheet changes scheduled once in a week.
No cleaning or mopping at all. Not even vacuuming the room.
When I ask to get better cleaning they always say : because of the Covid we don't have enough house keepers
I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you have to

Hurricane evacuation

Love this property nice clean hotel clerks were very friendly and helpful we stayed because we had to evacuate from our home due to hurricane Laura. Property was close and convenient for the trips back and forth back home.

Hurricane Evacuees

This place was amazing in the midst of us evacuating from our flood prone apartment. It had a homey feeling that seemed to make the current event disappear. We were placed on the 4th floor with an impeccable view. You could amazingly see the Houston skyline at a distance. The best part was that our dog was welcome too! Great place to have spend the night at.

Spacious Room Excellent service

We had to stay here for 2 weeks because our house flooded from a broken pipe! Our insurance set us up in this hotel! I could not have picked a better hotel .We had a suit. The rooms are spacious, the kitchenette fully stocked with everything you need except food. I would recommend this hotel 100%!

Nearly year long stay

The first thing I want to say is that I appreciate the hospitality and care provided by Deja and Tamekia. Both ladies went above and beyond trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My wife and I are grateful for the above and beyond care they showed us during our stay. For example, when our beloved family pet passed away during our stay, Tamekia came to us with a heartfelt card and a cheesecake. The same generosity was given during our birthdays and other special occasions and for this, we will always be grateful. Marisol has always been friendly as well as Esmerelda in the Dinner and social hours. Esmerelda tried very hard to accommodate all guests during this pandemic and for that, we have no complaints. In saying this, there are two things that should be addressed in this review in order to give the feedback necessary to make changes. The first one is theft by a member of the housekeeping staff that was not EVER properly addressed by the General Manager, Megan. We had multiple items taken from us during our stay, consisting of prescribed medicines, items in the refrigerator and the most painful and irreplaceable was a pair of 1Ct diamond earrings and a ring that my wife’s children and grandbabies gave to her before they left out of country. When my wife addressed these things with Megan, she was told “I will need to discuss with Christian how to handle this” (Christian being her boss) The matter was never discussed again and Megan’s only solution was to have management stand in the room while it was cleaned. This made my wife uncomfortable and it felt to me like this was done to protect the housekeeper and not address the issue as they sent back the same housekeeper that stole from us back to our room two weeks later. From that point on, we went without housekeeping for the duration of our stay, nearly two months. This is unacceptable, given the amount of money I spent to be at this property for a year.
Issue number two. There is a sales manager by the name of Ashley. The last several months, she would work and bring her boyfriend and child with her to work. Numerous times the boyfriend would have the managers keys and had access to all things the manager would have. Nearly every time Ashley worked, her and her boyfriend would have extremely loud and inappropriate confrontations in front of the guests and even in the parking lot. It wasn’t unusual to see them chasing each other down the road. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the GM allowed Ashley, her boyfriend and child to stay on the property for more than a month, which intensified the fights and inappropriate behavior. All the while, boyfriend had her keys. It isn’t a very good feeling knowing that someone who doesn’t have employment on the property has the ability to enter a guest room as they please. On at least one occasion, I observed Ashley and her boyfriend enter a guest room in the wee hours in the morning on the 4th floor, while they were staying on the first floor. It gave the appearance of a situation unbecoming of such a beautiful property. Finally, during this pandemic, as long term guests, we were limited to 7 people or less in the pool area. The last three weekends we were at the property, the pool was inaccessible as there were upwards of 20-25 people in the pool having parties. Nothing was done to break up the parties and the last weekend we were there, the GM was working night audit and she allowed a loud, drunken party to carry on until 2 am. This was very irritating as I had to work the next morning and had a 12 hour shift on 3 hours sleep. This is truly a beautiful property and I sincerely hope the best for all who try to keep it functioning. It would be a shame to see it go in the ground due to a small handful of employees. If you have to stay, don’t let Marcella in your room and keep to yourself and you will be okay.

Best hotel out there

This hotel was by far the best one we stayed at on our cross country trip. Room was very clean and looked brand new. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be looking for a Staybridge every time we travel.
