The location of the hotel was a bit isolated. I usually prefer to be nearer the action.

Requested for a silent room and was given a room facing the highway and next to the elevator. This is the noisiest room as we can hear everything and everyone from the hallway and the elevator plus the traffic noise from the highway. Reported this to the reception but the only answer is that the rooms are already assigned. No changes. Disappointed!

Pros: Staff is incredibly nice, very clean and comfortable beds.
Cons: The pool is small and cold, the location is not the nicest, there is nothing to walk to. They only clean guests rooms once a week during stays.

Loved my king suite! It had a little kitchen which allowed me to save money by cooking for myself during my stay. Pots and pans and other cooking utensils were available and easy to find. Plus there was a HUGE desk area where I was able to spread out and work while I was in town for business.

I left the room early and put the "please clean/make up room" sign on my door. When I returned, my room was not made up.

It’s been my 5th stay! I love the location, the style of the hotel, and the cleanliness. Its in the heart of CT. I love traveling to the restaurants near by. I also love the low rates! Thank you!

Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went well. The room was very well appointed, spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed.

The rooms are large, comfortable and very well appointed. The staff went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. A five minute walk from the city centre but very quiet. Easy access to main highways. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Hartford.
Good Value and Location for the Money

We have stayed at this Candlewood Suites on numerous occasions when we travel to Hartford. The hotel is clean and well laid out, the staff are friendly and the central location is a bonus for getting downtown. The price is very competitive as well.
