Noisy Location

I recommend getting a room away from the main roads. There was a lot of noisy traffic throughout the night. I was on the bridge side and trucks were noisy as they excellerated up the hill.

Super stay. I was in town to visit my son and my new granddaughter and daughter in law. They are the ones who recommended the Avid. Super stay. From the moment I parked, I knew this was a nice place. Clean, comfortable and nice staff. That equals super!!!

My family and I had a great experience. It's a new hotel with a great atmosphere in the lobby. Breakfast and other amenities were good along with a great location.

The staff was not friendly at all but hotel room was clean and comfortable for the price.

Wanted to get a headstart on the LOOOOONNNG drive home before the holidays. Drove as far as I could before finding a place to rest my head for just a few hours. AVID was perfect as it was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and not too far off of the interstate. Although I did not have a critter with me on this trip, it is apparently dog friendly as there were several throughout the property.

I always stay here ! Rooms are clean , customer service is epic and the breakfast is on point ! It’s located right in the heart of everything and easy highway access, I highly recommend this as a main stay !!

First time staying at Avid, very rewarding experience, it is now my preferred choice within IHG, very clean, everything in the room worked, good location, dining area very clean and accommodating, room was very contemporary and well planned in design.

Such a nice hotel. Brand new. Very comfy bed and sheets. Love the Dove products available in the bathroom. Nice quick breakfast options. I’d stay again next time I visit Ocala.

We were absolutely amazed by our experience. Despite being located downtown, the hotel offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. We chose the Avid for a special 2-year anniversary getaway, as it was conveniently close to the drive-in movie theater, so we didn’t have to drive far at night.
The General Manager personally checked us in, providing a seamless and professional experience. We were truly blown away when we entered our room. Cindy the GM had thoughtfully gotten our room decorated. We walked into a delightful fragrance and sight. There were fresh rose petals scattered all over, and sweet treats on the bed—what a wonderful and unexpected surprise!
Thank you so much Cindy, we will certainly be back.

Had an excellent stay at this location walking to nearby restaurants was close shopping etc McDonald's Popeyes Walgreens over very convenient ly placed close to the hotel.
