Room was nice and clean, although the walls seemed paper thin, could hear snoring through the wall. Dealing with the hotel to get charges corrected has taken longer than expected.

The hotel was well thought out with design and meet all of our needs. Super clean! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The only item would be a ice bucket with lid in the room instead of downstairs.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Room was clean, comfy, and I loved the number of hooks to hang items.
Status recognized at check-in (received early check-in, late checkout, and welcome amenity)
Sheree made the stay personalized. I received messages checking in on how everything was with my room. Whenever I came down for breakfast, Sheree would greet me by name and made sure I ever needed anything like housekeeping or towels. One thing to expect is that the breakfast selection is a bit slimmer and has more prepackaged items (more grab-and-go style). Example: oatmeal packets, granola bars, eggs in plastic containers, bananas, tangerines, apples, yogurt, and omlets wrapped in foil. Another note: currently has the bigger dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted to the shower wall and not the smaller containers. Water pressure and hot/cold water were good. There is no safe in the room. There is a mini fridge, however. There is only 1 ice machine at the hotel on the first floor near the check-in/breakfast area.
Pro: They have a coffee machine and hot water available 24/7. Gym also open 24/7.

The avid is a very nice hotel. We slept very comfortable. The only thing is that the tub was dirty. The breakfast is OK but the staff was very excellent meaning the ladies.We didn’t know they didn’t have a pool.A pool would be great if they added a pool that’s all that they’re missing.

We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff, who were incredibly professional and welcoming. A special shoutout to Eric, who went above and beyond by sending us a text message to ensure our room met expectations and to see if we needed anything else. His personal touch truly enhanced our stay. Additionally, Sheeri at the front desk worked hard to make sure the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She also said goodbye in such a nice, thoughtful way, which left us with a great final impression.
The hotel smelled clean and fresh, and the bed was super comfortable, making it easy to relax. The restroom was spotless, and all the lotions and soaps were fully stocked. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a nice bonus. We also appreciated the grab-and-go breakfast, which had something for everyone in our group, making it a perfect start to the day. It’s clear that they prioritize guest satisfaction, and we truly enjoyed our stay.
Highly recommend this property, and the price point is very reasonable.

Excellent and friendly staff who welcomed us with a warm smile, making the check-in process smooth and effortless. The room was spotless, smelled fresh, and was well-lit, providing great comfort. Overall, a fantastic stay with a clean and inviting atmosphere!

We enjoyed out time in Austin, and the avid hotel was a great place for us to stay while there. Room was very nice as was the hotel in general.

Having a clean room, and regular housekeeping is very important but the room was not the best cleaned and housekeeping only showed up once during my 5 night stay. Also, coffee should be available in the room, only having it available in lobby is inconvenient. Breakfast choices were also very poor and cheap (I could go to a gas station next door for the same items). Hate to say it, but this hotel actually made me miss having rehydrated scrambled eggs haha!
