Loved the Avid by IHG. Tremendous staff with service being their cornerstone. Very attentive and detailed premises. Hot and cold breakfast stood out as only amazing with all the trimmings. Great price and the week we spent was priceless in Billings. Thanks for making our stay in Billings even more special.

This hotel was clean, the staff is so kind and helpful. The bathroom shampoos and conditioners are great. The breakfast isn’t more than a snack, and the coffee is good.

Top notch - it’s rare to stay in a moderately priced hotel where everything works. Our room was comfortable and the hotel has the best free breakfast and single serve fresh coffee. But what really stood out was high speed Wi-Fi with technology that allows you to stream your favorite shows from your phone to your room’s TV. I’m a British mystery fan and I could stream Brit Box - what a treat!

We stayed at Avid because of the IHG points promotion and we're glad we tried something new! The hotel felt like modern hotels in Europe. Clean and simple with everything you need.

As a traveler, it's disappointing when being stuck in room that your TV's do not always work and it's been this way since this location opened. Has to do with broadcast channels and satellite issues from what I was told. Sometimes you have channels, other times you don't. I had to watch movies on the fitness center TV. Crazy Been there several times since opening. Not sure I like the updated breakfast.

Pee smell and not good at noise proofing rooms

Towels reeked of dog pee. Room was stinky with air running. Smelt like wet dog. And noise could be heard from neighbor upstairs at five in the morning. Talking and walking

Check-in could have been much smoother if guest service had been the clear priority. Jaqueline, who appeared to be new, greeted us warmly and worked hard to assist, but her co-worker Ryan stayed focused on his computer instead of stepping in to help. When a teammate is training, the guest experience should come first, even if that means pausing other tasks. A small request for an east-facing room slowed the process further, so we took the original assignment to get moving. While the room was clean the smoke detector flashed a bright green light all night and only 3 channels worked on the TV. Tech support wait wasn’t worth staying on phone after 15 minutes. Disappointed in our stay.
