Brandon was super helpful even with no hot water. Entire staff was courteous and respectful unlike the holiday inn on watson blvd. That staff is just plain rude, which is why I selected a different IHG property this time.

Avid can be deceiving as it is not a name that is somewhat new, but don’t let it fool you. We have stayed here and at other avid location several times and always leave very satisfied with the friendly and professional staff along with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone needing a great overnight experience.

Being away from home and family for an extended time is never easy, but this hotel truly made the experience comfortable. The property was exceptionally clean and well-kept, which immediately put me at ease. Most importantly, the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. Brandon and Jasmine went above and beyond with their kindness and professionalism, and their efforts really made my stay so much easier. I’m very grateful for their hospitality and would gladly stay here again.

Excellent, upfront leadership, materiality, and expertise. The receptionist was very polite and concerning. Exhibited the qualities of a hotel manager.. Harley recommend advancement. Insured accommodations was pleasant.

Clean, great service, great location. After a 15 hour travel day it was just what we needed. It was pouring rain when we got there and the front desk staff coming on duty offered her umbrella to use to unload as she walked in the door. Very thankful for her.

As this was my first time at an Avid hotel, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet night sleep after a nice hot shower to relax and dream of your next trip after a great meal here. I gave a 10, and not ding them for not having a microwave in the rooms for late night meals from the many places to eat in the city of Byron, GA.

Friendly, helpful staff; clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast, fresh coffee 24-7. Stopping in Byron, I highly recommend this hotel. I call it an "Ikea Hotel" because it is sort of bare bones - but packs what you need in there!

Very atypical experience with an IHG property… stayed on night and had no hot water in the morning. You pay for a room with the expectation of the most basic of amenities… like hot water. When I called down about it, I was told I had to “play with it.” (?) When I checked out I was told it was a known maintenance issue. I was also told the mgr would likely add points to our account to compensate for the trouble. They gave us 500 points. Virtually worthless.

It was nice stay. I would stay there again.
