I'm a loyal IHG customer, so this hotel was a let-down from the excellence I am used to. Strange flooring, thin walls, non-functioning outlets, harsh, bright lights, poor water pressure and lukewarm water, unappetizing breakfast, and no staff in sight for check-in upon arrival for 15-20 minutes.

The good- Room was clean, bed was comfortable
The Bad- Air conditioner made annoying noise which made it hard to sleep. The breakfast was unedible

New hotel blues

The hotel is "new" there are many places that you can see water damage. The tvs dont connect to wifi properly, so your not able to stream, the room I stayed in has no closest at all. You could hear everything in the hall way, the pool is tiny, the ac was lagging, the gym equipment was already broken. It does have a convenient location and the rooms appear clean, the staff is also very nice.

This was a great hotel. Great value, great location, great rooms with a nice bathroom and a good breakfast. Plan on staying again in December.

Our room at this hotel was very nice! The staff was very helpful and nice! We came to go to Hershey and it was about a 10 minute drive to the park so it was very convenient! I would stay here again.

It's spacious rooms and high ceiling are nice. But corners were cut with basic building measures. The spout for the shower head had exposed opening. Their was water stains above the shower.

The Avid brand is basic with no frills, this hotel met our expectations. Lobby and room were clean and in good condition. Limited dining options nearby. This hotel was a good overnight stay during our road trip.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Lots of hooks to hang bags and so on. Reasonable price and only about 15 minutes from hershey park

The hotel is nearly new, and it is evident in the cleanliness of the room and facilities. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, and not a pack and go, but warm and filling. The only complaint would be the building is all wooden, and sound is easily heard. It was a bit difficult to sleep early in the night, but once everyone had settled in, we were able to sleep peacefully.

Stay as part of a trip to Hershey and would recommend this place to anyone. I will most likely be back to the park and would consider this hotel again. First time at an IGH hotel and is very similar to my favorite hotel chain
